Thing is, this is one area you don't want to skimp. A good pH meter can be trusted, maintains calibration longer and lasts longer. I highly recommend the Apera PH60 and Bluelab pH pens.Can you recommend a good value PH tester?

This diagram shows that Sulfur stimulates Calcium, Molybdenum and Copper availability to the plants and that Zinc and Molybdenum both stimulate Sulfur. So I don't see an issue BUT if you saw something being locked out by excess Calcium, Molybdenum or Copper then perhaps the sulfur is the actual cause.

As we can see in this chart, excess Calcium for example, could limit potassium uptake.
Every element has it's limits so how much sulfur can we have without issues? I really don't have that number.
