Aussie Growers Thread

Seedlings I would put close to that light from 2nd set of true leaves dimmed down then keep it close and dim it up to harden them off.

Clones I would put them straight under it at full strength a couple foot away to start til they start to stretch then lower it incrementally.

Once they are hardened off and used to that light I would keep it as close as possible at all times.

450W is fuck all really
The 450W is almost like a 1000w hps.
Check the spider farmer sf4000 for a better understanding of my light.
I ran tomato seedlings under it dimmed to 20% at 80cm and it bleached them, so there is no fucking way im putting weed seedlings anywhere near them.
Thanks for your reply all the same.

I have a v1 sf4000 without the dimmer, I have germinated seeds directly under the light but I did have it at least 60cm away prob more like 70cm.

If I had one easily dimmable I would start it at 25% 45ish cm away then turn the light up as the plant grows, like mentioned previously

A 450w Q.B is no where near the output of a 1000w H.P.S

From OS Attitude seems to be getting them through in good time.
Forget seedsman at this time 8 weeks and nothing.
