Haha love it! Let’s hope all of “his” stains get renamed. Ive got some Putang growing right now, was thinking about calling it “Strung Out” after seeing recent pics of the guy. Dude looks like a junky. Here's the plant formerly know as EEEEE! ... I call it Elbow Pads now....
.... and the plant formerly known as Grape Pupil ... now dubbed Purple Fingerboarder
Imagine blindly believing strains were stolen when they are not, there is no evidence, and there are very clear differences in all of them when grown side by side. Then you decided to rename it. You're then the guilty one. Do your due diligence.Haha love it! Let’s hope all of “his” stains get renamed. Look at the side by sides per post on stoned ninjas IG, then hollar, but yes with new drop, starting to look like publicity stuntImagine blindly believing strains were stolen when they are not, there is no evidence, and there are very clear differences in all of them when grown side by side. Lol you have no idea what your talking about. Its federally legal up here and you can grab 4 beans for 50-60 bucks of mediocre shit. Yeah you must be Hella excited for that. Be real price of Cannabis beans will never be the price of a pack of corn beans. Not when the end product is fetching 10$ a gram vs corn thats less than 5c A cob to the farmer growing them. Can’t wait till federal legalization so that all these wannabe plant breeders get blown out of the water by real AG Breeders and packs of seeds are $4.50 for 25 seeds . Can order them alongside my brandywine tomatoes .
Wait 10 more years.... cannabis is nothing special... it produces copious amounts of seeds. When it’s legal and big ag starts smashing together strains and stabilizing stuff you better believe the price is gonna drop. As for the price for gram...again it’s nothing special...it’s like any plant.Lol you have no idea what your talking about. Yes I understand that for now. But there is just no chance cannabis prices will stay at $10/gram as more competition enters the market. These prices are still holdover from the black market days and don’t show the true value of cannabis. No one paying $10/gram of tomatoes or cucumbers...Lol you have no idea what your talking about. Cannabis seeds will always be expensive as long as Cannabis is expensive. I persinally don't see Big AG entering this game as much as big Pharma and Tobacco companies and they will want to see it stay profitable as ever.Wait 10 more years.... cannabis is nothing special... it produces copious amounts of seeds. Yea , I believe there’s very little chance cannabis stays at current prices as prohibition around the world comes to an end. They’re is a reason no one is setting up warehouses to grow tomatoes , not economically viable. They’re will always be boutique breeders but in ten years I think people will be looking back at these ridiculously inflated seed prices and laughing. 10+ dollar a seed is a joke. Even cut flower seeds which may be the most comparable crop in terms of pricing aren’t even close to that expensive.Cannabis seeds will always be expensive as long as Cannabis is expensive. once it's legalized federally that'll be the end of US grown cannabis, and the wholesale prices will bottom out completely... but I imagine the consumer prices won't ever change much from $10/g... even if it costs $2 to buy wholesale, the govt will find a way to take the other $8/g in taxesWait 10 more years.... cannabis is nothing special... it produces copious amounts of seeds. With all the taxes, prices will stay high. Might come down a bit but not much. Its incredibly cheap to make alcohol too. The majority of the cost of liquor is taxes.Yea , I believe there’s very little chance cannabis stays at current prices as prohibition around the world comes to an end. You beat me to it. I doubt we will see ounces going for 560 dollars plus tax (like the rec shops around me are charging) but I dont see it ever dipping under 10 a gram, especially anywhere with weather that isn't good for cannabis cultivation.but I imagine the consumer prices won't ever change much from $10/g... even if it costs $2 to buy wholesale, the govt will find a way to take the other $8/g in taxes
i would short any cannabis stock that relies on growing artificially ... it's crazy to me, I see all these giant grow ops setting up shop in warehouses with hundreds of lights ... they have to pay electric, heat, ac, taxes, insurance, testing, etc... all at US labor costs ... sure, it's filling a need right now, but it's an incredibly short sighted investmentYou beat me to it. I would agree except they might need “clean” grows for medical grade....but way smaller market.i would short any cannabis stock that relies on growing artificially ... it's crazy to me, I see all these giant grow ops setting up shop in warehouses with hundreds of lights ... they have to pay electric, heat, ac, taxes, insurance, testing, etc... all at US labor costs ... sure, it's filling a need right now, but it's an incredibly short sighted investment
I’m excited too. It’s going to flush a ton of money grubbing douche bags out of the way and it will be more craft passion stuff.Alcohol is still considerably cheaper than the cost of cannabis and requires much more labor to make the final product from the farmed materials. Cannabis flowers are cannabis flowers and require very little post production work or time compared to alcohol. By products are another story but I’m referring to the flowers. They are essentially a perishable product and perishable marketplaces, once opened up, will beat down the price guaranteed. The power of the sun is free. Even in environments that require greenhouse production using heat and some light supplementation , the cost to produce is much lower than full indoor production. Also as prohibition continues to be lifted, product will come from wherever it can be produced the cheapest for given part of the year. You’re not eating tomatoes in February that are being grown in Canada, unless they’re grown in greenhouses, which just reiterates my point. Not sure why so many people feel this is a negative, as a hobbyist I’m excited to see what type of seed lines will come about once real plant breeders enter the arena. Would love to buy a pack of seeds that I know what each plant will look like and what it’s disease resistance, finishing time etc is.
