kool setup I had the same thing going. Couple things you can use a mylar blanket that you buy in the camping section of walmart. Mylar you can buy at any hydro shop. I had my cfl's on for 24/7 but, got better results from 18/6. now that box is tiny it won't be good for gowing full plants unless you decide to go 12/12 from start. my plant grew from 6"s at 30 days to 30"s at 60 days went to 12/12 on the 30th day of 18/6. She is fucking huge. I also ask you about what your gonna do about heat the box is gonna get real hot bro. check out my link. I am also doing dwc. As I got more into this i bought a tent and a 400watt MH and HPS. I recomend 12/12 from start if you plan on doing your whole grow in the box.

the heat is going to be controled with a fan i have 1 pc fan bringin fresh air in and one takin out the heat plus i just got a regular fan today to cool it more it only gets to a high of 83 degrees.i was gonna force them to flower at a foot high so i think should be ok how long does it take to flower from time of sprout to ready to pick with the 12/12 cycle?

dude your crazy if you think your gonna be able to grow those 12" then go into flower they TRIPLE in size when you go to 12/12. you know what kind of bean you have? Indica or sativa? Or just some bag seed you have no idea?

i have ni idea this is an experiment round i also planned on topping the plant. but i have been reading this book "buds for less". has given me new perspective. i will be goin on a 12/12 cycle right from the start of maybe a wwek later after it sprouts. but he just used 42w soft white bulbs no daylight bulbs.

yeah bout 8 to ten inches is good or about three weeks, then you would be looking at a 30 inch plant instead of a 10 incher

painting it white is good, but if you don't want to buy paint and go through the trouble (like me) you can cover it with white computer paper. it works quite well as a reflector

Get rid of the foil , it reflex heat and I dont think 2 PC fans will do it much good with the foil in there. Mylar is the best to use . I have the same set up but my box is 2'x3'x6' and I have to train my plants to bend to complete a grow. I started flowering mine at 10" and they max out my grow area in just 3 1/2 weeks of flowering. I know on my next grow I'm going to try a scrog . I've just started building a new grow box . Well best of luck to ya and keep growing

What your stating is that foil reflects heat but mylar dont? Then why do the sell mylar emergency heat blankets??? BECAUSE THEY REFLECT HEAT...
I never seen a foil emergency blanket...
I guess technically if you want the most reflection youll paint your vegging room blue and your flowering room red...then they will reflect all the light that is that spectrum and absorb all the rest...Booyaa!!! simple physics.
But deciding what shade would be the bitch....

yeah best off keeping them smaller.. if you wanted to wait until preflowers to start 12/12 it would be better but then you could give them a little trim to about 8" i think that would be fine.. but seen it's bag seed you should be careful becaue it could be a monster
