yes, but red and blue don't reflect red and blue the best. They would also I'm sure soak up a lot of excess heat causing your grow room to get way to hot. And the reason mylar works better than foil is it doesn't crinkle like foil does. Foil concentrates heat spots on sections of your plant.... Burning them eventually. Sure with CFLs it doesn't matter AS much as HID lighting. But, its just principle man.

ok i get the point about the mylar thank you for lettin me know. now bout topping this thing. what should i do if this plant decides it going to be a monster? and would it be best for me to do LST? or should topping it be fine? i love this website i get to bounce my ideas off ppl who know what their doing. it truly helps alot. I bought the book buds for less im thinkin after i see how this goes im gonna try his way in the closet. I just need to get some indica seeds. what kind would u guys suggest to start with??

lst and top... top once then tie the plants on a slope to decrease height and increase yeild.. also the double tops will help with the yeild... put holes in the top of your pots to tie the strings to.. 6 holes should do good..

about how tall should i let it get b4 topping it? and just to make sure LST is tieing the plant down so it grows in a coil like correct?

i'd tie them down at about 14" then top them when they start to go twords the light again.. when the 2 new branches are bout 3-5 inches tie those down again.. and judge when to flower by the height then... not all lst is based on doing a coil shape.. i'd tie them out like spider legs typ shape... lst is tieing the plantdown but not always in a coil... you can tie it anyway you want... i usually look at how much light is on each branch after i tie it down..

ok my sprout just got its first set of real leaves we'll see what it is in bout a week i think to determine if i even have to do that hopefully not but get more bigger buds using lst right

im hopin this grow goes fairly good. just so i can say hey that bud ur smokin i grew lol. plus save me some loot and some time. u ever tried lst?

yeah i have.. i only used that plant for seed though i put a male and a lst'd female in a 2ft high 2 ft wide grow box with cfl's to make seed for an outdoor grow..

this ought to be an experience to try. maybe we'll see this is what i got so far since i planted i got 2 that have sprouted up and the 3rd is still breakin the surface.

what sux is not knwing if its male or female lol im hopin for all females but i knw at least one is going to be male. i just hope to get atleast 1 female. if u find anything out bout the nutes let me knw
