I purchased in 2015, Amazon, from MaXX Yield and also Super Roots Air-Pots.Thanks man. I'll look into those for my final container I think. Were those branded ones you've got?

The 20L (4.3 gallon) is about £8 in the UK + delivery charge. How much are those honeycomb style pots. 5 gallon
The medium won't fall through the holes. Can anyone tell me what's meant to go in the bottom of these Air Pots? I saw in a video the holes are pretty big at the bottom, so what should go in there to stop soil falling through? Also, do I still need perlite mixed in?
Being a total noob at this, what IS the proper way to fill a pot?Ive read a number of times about stuff washing out that tells me that the pot is upside down or its not filled properly, I don't get they problems.
Just fill it and tap it down pressing lightly on the plant to create a concave/saucer shape, if you feed it with a watering can top it up afterwards it'll compress.Being a total noob at this, what IS the proper way to fill a pot?
Got one of those! That was probably the only thing I did right in my first grow. You can buy small 1.5 litre watering cans there ideal for small plants, the nutrient comes out in a controlled manor rather than mining the top lol.
I think it's very rare for anyone to crack it 1st time around, you'll still have learned a considerable bit, you what not to do the next time :thumbs:Got one of those! That was probably the only thing I did right in my first grow.
I fill it with 4 or 5 inches and then pick up the pot then drop it 10 or 12 times from about 6 inches. This evens out the medium, packs it just right.. not too tight not too loose and repeat until its about 2 inches from the rim.Being a total noob at this, what IS the proper way to fill a pot?
