Not indoors yet. That is gonna be my next project cause I caught the addition. I love this!! I should of been doing it 20 year's ago,lol
In that case if you want to go indoors it would solve your light pollution issue. otherwise I'd get a little greenhouse frame (just search for something that can fit all your plants) and add a blackout poly layer yourself. I've been shopping around and can share links.

That's one way to control the lighting without investing in actual lights
Cause there is lights on the businesses around me that have these bright ass lights. I think that's the problem. But I have a back like storage room that's not connected to my apartment that's where I was bringing them in

Agreed. A buddy of mine is a consultant that works across the country with cannabis farms... he said the biggest mistake people in the south make is not taking advantage of the sun.... we are in a position to grow outdoors year round with minimal infrastructure...just add an AC for the hottest months and a little heater for the coldest.

Yeah the real sun is like no other. It's like a million or something miles away and it can still mess you up. Crazy how strong it is!!!
Still personally investing in LED tech... but that's just based on my assumption that any post-apocalyptic scenario will leave the surface uninhabitable and I'll need to grow my food in a bunker.

Yes sir! I'm in lower Michigan and the weather is already getting pretty cold. Not to cold but I can tell it's coming. I'm scared cause I got alot of time into these ladies and don't want it to go to waste

What's a decent LED that is strong enough for flowering that won't break the bank

So here's a trick.... and not one to be used lightly.

They flower when the days get shorter as a survival mechanism to reproduce before the winter. Because of this they ripen faster as the days get shorter (longer uninterrupted dark period).

So if you need to force them to finish quicker you can extend the dark period. Just be aware this will result in weaker/smaller buds than a full term pregnancy

Man I'm looking into this too I have 5 mary's hydro 2000 and everyone says it's. Entry level low budget light everyone says to build your own light is best but I'm not svvy on that note

DIY really isn't as bad as it used to be. you can get some slide on plug and play connectors for the wiring... it's more expensive but a lot easier to build the frame out of 80/20 extrusion and you can order the pieces precut online.

Okay so the light period gives them the energy to get big and what the dark helps them finish?? What exactly does the darkness do for the plants
