Over fertilized or underfed?

Hey guys, so I have been having a problem with my plants lately. As you see in the pictures three of them are yellowing showing signs of deficiencies but I have been feeding them. The back left looks completely fine no signs of deficiencies although the last feed did turn some of the leaves at the top a lighter green. The last time which was five days ago when I watered the PH from the runoff was 7 to 7.2 on each of the plants. I did correct that three days later with the next watering being adjusted to 6.0. I have a day or two left till my next watering to tesla runoff again to see a more accurate pH runoff. I have been feeding these ladies roots organic Master pack at 1/4 of the recommended dosage. Would you guys have any suggestions? Am I over feeding, underfeeding or is it just a PH issue? You can also see that the tips of the leaves are burning so my best guess would be over fertilizer and PH issue

My guess, your bloom fert has less (N) than your grow ferts did. You do still give a SMALL dose of veg nutes during flower right? Thats something I do, I dont know how many people do it.

I dont use the same nutes as you but when I have this issue and I'm sure I'm giving enough bloom nutes I hit it with a veg feeding. High n. It helps give what it needs for the stretch.

Don't ignore that ph tho.... 7 is a little higher than you want. 6.5 would be better . Dont be surprised if runoff ph is high again. Your soil is likely buffered that way. Might have to change that.

These girls are in week 3 of flower so I think the stretch is over. I just fed them this past watering so should I plain water to check ph run off or should I feed them again with higher nitrogen nutes? Skeptical because I don’t want to over fertilize but I also don’t want to keep them underfed. But I’m hoping the next watering will be in the 6.4-6.8 range since I watered at 6.0 last water

Take every pH product and throw it in the bin, whoever or whatever taught you to use these in soil is wrong.

Now that your not messing with water pH and runoff make that quarter strength ferts full for the next two feeds.

Minor tip burn is water stress, too much/too little, it's the furthest points that get fucked unlike when you over fertilize and lots of shit burns and it was all dark green and curled over.

For clarity, you are growing in soil....and you're checking the run off....

(loads up the cannon while waiting)

Best decision I ever made was to stop worrying with the ph :bigjoint:

Okay will do man and you don’t have problems with lockouts when not phing?
so instead of plain water for next watering I should just do full strength on all four?

Run water through the plants and measure the run off CF/EC, that'll give you an idea of either to much or to little in the pot.
Fwiw I would only pH the nutrient to feed checking the pH is pointless imo, it doesn't tell you anything worthwhile.

Also, soil doesn't need you to check run off. What you're doing is called 'chasing your tail'.

You pH balance what you put in and the soil does the rest.

Testing run off is exclusively for Hydro set ups.

More accurately re circulating set ups, outside of re circulating the pH run off is irelevant, measuring the ec/cf of the run off tells me a lot though!

Just a note about that, your readings will be off because of soils capacity to hold on to nutrients.

To get a better reading you would have to plug the drain holes, allow the water to saturate the soil (horrible idea, don't do it)and after the soil is saturated, allow it to drain to check the runoff EC. You would have to do this over several feedings to get an estimate you can trust.

The reasoning behind this is we can't predict how much the microbes have eaten, how much is retained by soil and how much is just passing through.

If you do have a EC testing method that you've used for awhile, I'm really curious what information you get.

The run off value tells me the plants are getting the right amount of feeding for the conditions, if my run off starts to rise in ec I know I have to back of a bit, if the run off falls bellow 0.6 I need to increase it a bit there hungry, if its 2.0 I know I've got build up and need to rinse it out, if i remember anymore I'll add them, thumbs.

Okay I appreciate the help from all you guys first time in Grauer so I don’t really know too much about it besides what I’ve read online and seen on YouTube

But here is another picture of my smallest girl. She is turning purple on the edges of her family leaves. What I thought was burn on some of the other is also the purpling
My next watering I will feed and share the ec

Is your temps getting low at night by chance?

I don't think your temps are cold enough at 66f my heater comes on at 63f and my plants are okay.

I have no idea what the problem is but your feeding real weak and nobody uses pH in soil or runoff except those who don't know what they are doing.

These two quick changes are your first step to try get this plant back to green.
