And is this a problem if you stagger your lights? I have all my lights turn on a couple mintues after the last except for this board in question which has 2 lights at the same time, and its not tripping when i turn it on it trips the surge protector after a few hrs being onYeah na. The draw when They all flick on at the same time your running the risk of boards failing and causing a fire. It’s a low risk but still a risk.
You dont need them man go to woollys get heap of 4 buck fkers.Ahhhk so get these you reckon? View attachment 4648379
Thats what i have been doin pretty much im also suspecting it just needs an individual timer per light because i had a cheap bunnings timer on there first and it was tripping then switched to a better timer and it lasted longer before tripping and ive got 2 lights on another board that are on individual timers and a fan hooked up to that board to and its never tripped in the past few yearsYou dont need them man go to woollys get heap of 4 buck fkers.
Startup and after the lights heated up. As heat rises so does resistanceAnd is this a problem if you stagger your lights? Exactly this.Inrush current is much higher than nominal.
Yep. Has it’s own proper rcd that'll trip before your house one. The ones in the power board is just for surge protection and dodgy/not to be really trusted anyway.Ahhhk so get these you reckon? View attachment 4648379
What’s $75 vs your whole grow burning down over a $4 power board you overloaded. You dont need them man go to woollys get heap of 4 buck fkers.
Aint burnt nothing down yet. What’s $75 vs your whole grow burning down over a $4 power board you overloaded.
Yeah i buy like 30 buck mechanical timers.Thats what i have been doin pretty much im also suspecting it just needs an individual timer per light because i had a cheap bunnings timer on there first and it was tripping then switched to a better timer and it lasted longer before tripping and ive got 2 lights on another board that are on individual timers and a fan hooked up to that board to and its never tripped in the past few years
Yeah I’ve seen first hand those trips on the board fail and stick on, they’re only a basic (and I mean basic) surge protector that doesn’t even always protect from surge. Also seen more than a few boards start to burn from over loading. Not saying it will happen but could and if your growing somewhere that your living than relying on a cheap board to power multiple lights isn’t safe.Aint burnt nothing down yet.
And tgey trip out so you aint burning nothing down.
Ya telling me.Iifes been a stressful meess haaa shit
Smash em with eradicator.i think that pine grow coco has mites in it ffs, i had no mites all year with the 30 buck coco, as soon as i tryed useing the pinegrow i found em everywhere, in the medium
thats it ive had it with coco tasts like shit anyway going only clayballs in my flower room from now
I’ve had zero issues with pinegrow, even had less gnat issues since switching to it. Mites can come from multiple sources including clothing and it’s likely you pick a few up at Bunnings if you where near any plants.i think that pine grow coco has mites in it ffs, i had no mites all year with the 30 buck coco, as soon as i tryed useing the pinegrow i found em everywhere, in the medium
