i smoked a blunt from it and the ashes were hard wtf!!!! i wouldnt just flick off
the red looks crazy omg wthI zoomed in and the red area concerns me but I have seen clusters of trichomes do that. However, the blue circles show what appear to be cubes.
Salt is cubic, trichomes are round. I'm not saying it is salt but it has NaCl characteristics.

The grower used a liquid salt based fertilizer as a foliar spray or foliar sprayed epsom salts on the plant. That would account for a salty taste, and how there's a salty taste in the buds as well.
I'm still not saying it's salt but now you have some hypotheses to prove or disprove.
