i decided to go ahead with the transplant only one out of my 8 plants im learning as i go, the soil was wet first mistake, second of all while transplanting the soil broke apart and came off of the roots, i was able to put the plant into a bigger pot watered it put it outside since my light is currently being used for cups on a small table, the roots were still attached to the plant but just not covered in soil will this be ok ?It's way too early to transplant that.
First, it's not a good idea to grow in a clear cup. Roots don't like light. Typically, when the leaves grow wider than the pot (or in this case cup), it's pretty safe to transplant. Wait until the pot is dry before doing so though... don't transplant when the medium is wet.
