It’s the water, when I first started I did experiments with tap water, reverse osmosis and distilled. The tap water pretty much stopped normal growth. You can buy gallons of reverse osmosis or distilled water if you need to. My reverse osmosis system was like 150 bucks on eBay. I can walk you through installing it if you need help
Tap water has minerals in it already so you can overdose feedings. RO is pretty much just water. My water from the tap already had a ppm of 330 with RO it’s 13ppm so the nutrients can do their job. I would think a lot of the big grows out west use filtered water. The difference is like night and day
Ive never heard of anyone ever having a problem with tap as long as you let the chlorine evaporate out of it.
Yea im sure. The pics arent showing them like they are. Im growing the same from the last grow. They were all very healthy green big full leaves. And only the fan leaves turned red and purple. Here is a comparison pic of one that is way healthier than the other. I just gave them a foliar spray of epsoms salt so they are kinda wet.
No he doesn't I have grown in soil /promix for decades and use straight well water and never check PHYou need distilled water or reverse osmosis water you can get a cheaper reverse osmosis system on eBay they are easy to install

Why would you even say such nonsense?
Some people have bad (high ppm) tap water. They can benefit from using RO or diluting their tap water with RO.
Congratulations! You have good tap water. Probably live in Oregon.

To the OP I don't know what kind of PH tester you ordered but it won't be accurate in soil
My best guess ya locked em out by overfeeding and now the results are beginning to show
I said what I did because it’s what I and many others have experienced,
We had a toxic dump down our road and everyone getting cancer, they wouldn’t even acknowledge the dumpSome states (I don't know how many) will do free water analysis at the health department. It provides a detailed breakdown of all elements in the water, and at what levels they are present. It usually works by someone going in and saying something to the effect that their water tastes funny and you're worried. They'll give you a bag with instructions and a sample bottle. You go home, fill out the paperwork, put the water into the bottle and return it. A few weeks (or however long) later, you get the results, usually in the mail.
With that knowledge, even at a high PPM, a nutrient solution might be able to be tailored to fit the high PPM water.
