I haven't checked out your progress in a while things are looking good I ended up hacking a blurple light & using 6 luminus cobs & a pair of meanwell hlg 240h-54b drivers now have 480w.cob in the blurple housing for my 3x3 tent I'm on my first run with it 20200623_212130.jpg

Hey Herk I am glad you stopped by, wow man the plants look like they love the lighting!
I've missed a lot here & heading advice you gave me earlier in your thread made my light 480w. instead of just 400 that's a single plant & it fills my 3x3 I'm gonna sit down & do a more in-depth reading of your thread I've missed a lot

So got wired the other day and starting to get a rough idea of where I am at. I got everything for the first tent, just waiting on the lights to get here. I am going to start gathering stuff for the second tent soon and should have that one up and running by the end of July. Here are a couple pictures.

Alright the grow is finishing up and I am preparing to try to get things in order to get this perpetual grow up and running. I know its going to take some time and I have a rough idea off how to pull it off. But I need some help with this cloning stuff, I've had a Clone King 36 for a bit and actually just took it out of the box a few minutes ago.

At this time I would like to invite to the thread,
@DoubleAtotheRON
@BobBitchen

I know they both use Clone Kings, but if anyone else has knowledge of using one please feel free to speak up as I need all the help I can get. I've read the instructions and looked around online and I am a little conflicted.

1. Everyone says to cut at a 45, I get that but the instructions say do not scrape and I have found where people said to scrape?

2. Instructions say to let it run continuous, some say X on X off. Even seen in the sellers listings say you need a timer?

3. Instructions say straight tap water, I've read where people have said to PH the water, my tap comes out at 8.3PH for the record?

4. Temp, I get it. My rooms temp are around 73-75F, but how do you control the water temp? Does is stay around the same as the room? And what do you do if it starts getting high? I've seen where some say they put frozen water bottle in the res, but I don't want to get it too cold, how do you guys handle this?

Thanks in advance!

I use the 25 site model. I would suggest not to run the pump 24/7 . I am at 5 on and 5 off. This still heats up the water but it slows down the process. Water temp is the key to success. You'll have better results with your water PHed between 5.5 and 6. I use light mix of nutrients in with the water once I see roots strike. I do some scoring when preparing the cutting and usually see roots striking from the score marks first. You'll want to change the water out after a week or so. Make sure to run some bleach water through it before storing.

Thank you for your time Buck! I didn't know you also ran one.

My environment allows me to run
non PH’d tap water,
pump 24/7
t5’s @ about 16”
No hormones or nutes
I take cuts, place in pics, & come back in 10-14 days.
IMHO the less they are F’d with the better
Good luck Flatrate

Gonna go with Bob on this one. Just follow the instructions and forget about them for 7-10 days, and then check em. I’ve had good luck with the 45 cut. I do use clonex to seal the cut while I’m loading the pucks. Plus, it gets mixed in with the Rez water. If your room is kept around 70-73, you shouldn’t have to worry about temps. The pump does make a little heat, but if you do find it getting close to 80, just toss a few ice cubes in there.

Good deal, thanks Bandit!

they are not feeding while rooting, It's my understanding that PH'ing is not needed at this time.
I have found for me, adding hormones made little difference, when I did use them, I used 5mil each KLN & Pro-tekt per my 3gal rez

Mainly its suppose to help the system stay clean. I have been playing with this product for some time now. Two grow ago I used it with every feed at 5ml a gallon, and grew some nice plants. Last round I used it roughly once a week, good results. This round finishing didn't use it and could tell.

IMO, the small amount of chlorine/chloramine in my tap water does that for me,
And a thorough sanitizing between runs.
Different strokes I guess, good luck, I hope it works well for you.
Post up your results when done please.
