If it's a 1(w) x 1(d)x 2(h) yes. Careful to start off you will nuke seedlings and early veg with that level of power In a small space.

I personally wouldn't give it any nutrients until the two week mark... but thats me
I'm the same here. Two weeks ish some time slightly earlier depending on nitrogen needs, ( very lime green in colour).

PH for soil 6-6.5
PH hydro/coco 5.5-5.8

My first feed is around 250 - 300 ppm or 0.5 EC and work my way up weekly checking requirements and amending if needed.

sheeeesh ya know I've been looking jnto going with a new "super soil" recipe... it supposedly feeds itself and pH doesn't have to be checked unless there are signs of a problem. And from what I've read the plants get exactly what they need at exactly the right time. Im tired of mixing/buying nutrients that go to waste lol. I mean obviously the ingredients in the super soil recipe will cost me money but I feel ill get more bang for my buck  plus I can make a shit ton of it and just store it. I hate driving to my local shop to buy nutrients lol.

I started 25 years ago with Ebb N Flow and DWC setups... then got tired of the upkeep and then went Coco for years with nutrients... got tired of mixing those too lol. I want to create a live soil that does everything the plant needs... other than maybe feeding with water and compost tea

I dont want to hijack the OPs thread too badly ... but do a bunch of research before you start messing with super soils. They can do everything you suggest, but there's definitely a learning curve. I'm stealing this sentiment from another poster, but on days when your plants are killing it and you've done nothing but water them you feel like a damn master botanist ... on days when your plants look like crap and you don't know what to do because everything is already in the soil you feel like a total failure. It does get easier every grow as you get dialed in though. I'm on my third round with super soil and its already going way better.

Mixing nutes is part and parcel of growing for me. I other things more annoying than mixing nutes.

However gebtlemencorspe is right. They can do all listed but difficult to get right. Ultimately if you don't get it perfect youre only going to end up adding additives to correct what's missing/gone wrong.

How do you get your EC at 0.5 I get 1.3 EC at mixing 1/4 strength nutes

My tap water comes out at 0.1 EC. If you have a high EC from tap less Calmag is needed as it's already in the water. If you're unsure check inside your old kettle if it has built up limescale you have Calcium In your water.

I add very minute drops of calmag, and grow base nutes and work my way up weekly sometime daily if I think a large increase is needed. Joys of hydro things happen fast!

Thanks for the heads up... im still going to give it a go in small scale at first. Maybe pop some lower end seeds the first few grows to see how much of a learning curve it really is. Keep your inboxes open
