Magnesium deficiency? Maybe?

First time grower here.

I have three auto-fems that I’m growing in 5 gallon pots/Ocean Forest soil. LED lights 12/12. Two are doing great. One is not looking so hot. From what I can find online, I’m thinking Magnesium deficiency? Maybe?

I dose with Cal-Mag and Fox Farms supplements every 6 days.

Any help is appreciated!

That's a pretty good bet. Try watering with on teaspoon of epsom salts per gallon of water. And also do a foliar spray with the same. Good luck friend!

that’s what was recommended to me, so I ran with it. There were a lot of mixed suggestions when I started. Some sources said that seedlings benefit from a rest period. I’m assuming your recommendation would be on 24/7? Can you tell me your reasoning please? Definitely open to learning and changing things up on my next grow.

Consensus is that autos need as much light as possible for max yield, so 24/0 (24 hours light/0 darkness) They don’t need any kind of light cycle to flower

You need microbes to break that shit down for the plant to uptake it... Best to add some nutes while that happens

Switch to 18/6 add some epsom salt add some microbes. low ppm balanced flower nute.

I run mine 24/0. Maybe 20/4 is better, I can’t say because I’ve never tried it. I’ve seen a lot of people talk about how they need a rest period though. I also saw this guy @HighLowGrow post the autos that he breeds under 24/0 and they looked great, which is what made me run mine that way. You should look at his page, he’s got one thread about how they really aren’t very complicated and shows how he does his. Just put them under a light and grow.

Besides the Mg deficiency, you've got Calcium deficiency, plus you're over fertilizing. What's your pH? How much of each bottle of stuff are you giving the plants?

I didn’t start dosing until after flowering started. I noticed my leaves weren’t looking right and had a hard time figuring out the problem. My water is always ph’d, so I assumed the soil was getting depleted.

Water’s pH is as close to 6 as possible when watering. I don’t have a soil thermometer yet, so no idea there.

I’m dosing with half of the recommended dose listed on the bottles.
