Thank you for that, really. This crop has a week to go, and DEF not gonna intentionally mutilate themk im. I thin gonna pull 5 out of each strain when i flip these veggies. And try it out. I did this with the 2 day darkness before harvest and really didn't see a viable difference. The hairs were a bit more red IF anything. Whats the worse thats gonna happen?

You can grow one strain and have quite different phenotypes, making a viable comparison impossible. If you work with clones derived from a single plant, you have one phenotype.

It is a basic tenet of what scientists call a controlled experiment. I find that while the scientific method is simple and easy to understand, most don’t know what it really is.

I have some space for an extra setup where i think I'm gonna put 30 plants. 10 each strain/ half of em will get tortured via iron maiden.. Like i said whats worse that can happen, i serve a couple hundred

I really dont get how? Same lights, nutes, schedule, and environment, and this includes the actual "master grow" everythi g is the same except the piercing

Instead of arguing, post photographs of the equipment and setup that you've got in place for the proper side-by-side experiment, document clearly everything that will be used throughout the grow, when and how you plan on introducing the test itself (eg. piercing), and provide photographs and detailed notes throughout the entire process. After you've completed the test, produce the end result.

Note also that two plants side by side even with everything being equal does not provide any statistical analysis value at all. You've got to do dozens if not hundreds of plants across numerous runs before the resulting numbers mean anything.
