I need honest opinions on miracle gro mediums

I live in the U.S but I can definitely find some local hydroponics shops in my area they usually have that stuff
Well shit man, if you have local hydro shops go get something decent. I paid like $13 a piece for the 1.5 cu ft bags of FFOF, but they have other organic blends too.

Luckily my shop is right behind my house basically. Well a couple miles, but it's crazy because I don't live in the city.

When you post a picture of a healthy plant like that grown in Miracle-Gro with just water you make growers that have some special blend of soil they mixed up, a dozen bottles of nutrients and additives, and sick plants really frustrated. Glad you posted as it allows people to see that you don't need special cannabis products to grow good plants.
Two things.
1. I have yet to see a good picture of a plant in flower in mg soil.
2. How can you learn anything about cannabis when growing in miracle grow,... except for what kind to get?

I guess I would use miracle grow if I just wanted to get some bud. But like most growers, we learn to love the journey. Miracle grow seems to take that journey into a field trip

This was my first grow. 3 different strains. All Autos.
Miracle Gro Performance Organics with some perlite.
I was more than pleased with the results...

And how to deal with and identify issues and this plant is the result of my knowledge unlike what other people are saying about other people they know that had bad experiences I don’t think it was the soil just not proper care for the type of medium used basic human error so blame it on the company lol

I can dig it youngn. But its like i said earlier, the genetics, and the environment have more of a role to play than the medium, maybe even the nutes. I mean it all obviously matter but with out good seed, ya get bunk weed. Let me ask you, do your calyx have ovules in them? Like is the plant over producing ovules in the calyxs?

I mean I guess that’s technically what they are but yeah not a problem after my first she was stressed a lot but I can definitely say this is one hairy strain like disgustingly hairy but I don’t think that’s really an issue after trimming but these nl seeds produce super hairy buds

If you actually knew what was going on in the soil, you wouldn't use it. Stay in College.

Honestly no my very first grow yes I thought my buds were full of micro seeds haha
Okay so I dont get it at all. You say you study the needs of the plant and know what's going on in the soil.
You are also growing an auto flower which generally finishes while the nutes in the soil are still going strong. You would have learned (or so it seems) that marijuana doesn't need a bunch of nitrogen in flower. It causes for small more leafy buds.
And then to make it worse...your actually adding additional fertilizer to it.
Hence the reason a grower said above they have yet to see great buds come from mg soil...and another said to add top soil to it to dilute it.

And you should also know then that adding enough ferts to something that is causing leaf burn is also damaging the roots.

Of course the soil is going to give you lots of growth and maybe even some good bud sites...but it all matters on what the end result is...and with all those nutes it wont be as great as it would have been with the right feeding for the right time.

Yeah man, the last few years all of my autos and femmed have all overproduced ovules like crazy. All my calyx get super swoll after 3 or 4 weeks, no matter what I feed, or lights, its gotta be the genetics. From all the inbreeding and hermaphroditing. Idk, but I bet if you go in their and pull a calyx from your auto, it probably has a ovule in it. As it should, but they just overproduce them. For whatever reason.
