First Grow, Almost out of space

First time growing in a 2x3x5 setup with 600w LED. 3 clones went into my tent on 4/25 but had a rough start. Took about a week n 1/2 to finally see some growth, I thought they weren’t going to make it. Long story short, I switched to flower on 6/5 or roughly 6 weeks. Now, they are getting too big! I even plucked a bunch of fan leads before the switch and their under 2 scrog nets. Their about 12” away from the light and I’m worried their going to get burnt. Their still super bushy and hardly any light gets to the bottom.

What can I do? My space is limited. Bad idea to cut fan leafs to increase light penetration and air flow? Can I still tuck branches under the scrog net?

At worst, I’m considering to remove the exhaust fan and filter and place those outside the tent. I rather not as I am ubale to take the clones out to be able to work inside the small tent.

A friend who grows suggested an additive to stop the plants from growing. ?

I've never heard of an additive that stops growth ... honestly they should be done stretching now. Id chop and crop myself but you will be stressing the plant, which is always a risk.

But ya, I'd clean out the lower fan leaves and suckered and super crop the leads that are getting too close to the lights in your shoes.

Your best bet is to super crop. You typically don’t let clones veg that long unless you have the space to support it, but you are already past that point. Super cropping is the only advice I have at this point.

yeah, crop them bitches. Absolutely do not give them anything to stunt growth, because then your gonna have sick girls, it may harm yield and quality, and your still gonna have to deal with the space issue.

Thanks for all the input. I tucked some branches under the net yesterday and plucked a few leafs off to let some more lights threw. I was able to raise the light a few inches by moving the exhaust to the very top of the tent (inside). Wasn't sure I could keep bending them down but sounds like its my best option for now.

Before and after of the inside of the tent, also befor bending some branches down. Will be doing a bit more later today.
Looks like you afforded yourself some wiggle room there. Just out of curiosity, why exactly can’t you move your carbon outside the tent?

I can, just leaving it as a last resort.

you cant take the top off the tent can you? Some tents allow for that.
Nope, this one zippers up all around. Besides, that would defeat the purpose of keeping it stealthy and in a controlled environment.
