There are millions of people who can say those people got them well stoned and then on the other side is you two. I get the psychology of it. It’s very common for people to shit talk those who they envy or fear for self soothing and reassurance. It makes one feel like they are even superior to the object of their criticism. It’s okay, you guys could have just offered your opinions, been positive and kept it moving, but you wanted to feel better about yourselves by shitting on people trying to be helpful and real professionals and got called out. I have grown two bubba crosses from katsu. Schromba and pre98 and I was a bit disappointed with the phenos I grew. I planted one of each (fem seeds) and they had some inconsistencies. I am actually running the Schromba again and hoping for a better run this time. Any suggestions bud ?

And to answer OP, look for crosses with strains you've tried and liked.
Some good breeders: Archive, AK Bean Brains, Bodhi, BOG, Cannarado, Capulator, CSI Humboldt, Dungeons Vault, Dominion/Duke Diamond's Vault, Dying Breed, Exotic Genetix, Mean Gene/Freeborn Selections, Homegrown Natural Wonders, Karma, Lucky Dog, Prolific Coast, Red Scare Seed Company, Riot Seed Co, Sin City, SnowHigh, Strayfox Gardenz/Circle Of Blessings, Swamp Boys, Thug Pug, True Canna Genetics.
Some vendors with good genetics: Great Lakes Genetics, @snowhighseeds, Neptune Seed Bank, Seeds Here Now, JBC Seedbank, Breeders Direct Seed Co, The Seed Source, Speakeasy Seed Bank, Oregon Elite Seeds.
Chem (91/D) and TK (Triangle Kush) have already been mentioned. OG crosses are also strong. Headband and the Pure Kushs (Hollywood, Topanga, Suge) are all strong. As for specifics from these breeders, AK Bean Brains' TKNL5Haze and is supposed to be really strong. Bodhi's 88g13hp crosses are as well. CSI Humboldt has already been mentioned, but he also has good Urkel and Mendo Purps crosses on top of the TK stuff. Cap, DVG, Dominion, Lucky Dog, and Strayfox, Swamp Boys all have lots of Chem or TK crosses. Circle of Blessings is Strayfox's fundraising company. These sell out quickly and all profits go directly to the round-clock care and medical bills of Stray's daughter. Everything from Mean Gene is strong, a lot of his stuff is OG and PK crosses, selected for resistance and outdoor performance.

You can have 100 different people and 100 different answers. Basically any decent strain grown properly can knock your socks off. Half the stuff out there is just hype anyway. Much of it looks, tastes, and smokes the same. The only difference is some silly name. If you look at the lineage of so much of the stuff out there it's just crosses of crosses crossed with other crosses all originating with Thai, Columbian, Mexican, Afghani, Indian, etc... strains. The scene has devolved into a bunch of poly-hybrid pollen chucks with different factions pushing their chucks on social media and what not. Anyone can spend $15 a month to setup a wordpress website in under an hour and start selling seeds online.

I've been running a Lemon Skunk from Greenhouse for about 5 years now that is one of the best strains I have ever grown...super stable, a huge producer, great lemon taste and smell....and I bought it as a single seed from Barneys.

Polyhybrid is a fairly meaningless term, in the common misuse of it. This paper is a good introduction to modern cannabis taxonomy.
Wherein one can learn, if sufficiently steeped in basic biology, that using the terms “indica” and “sativa” is functionally meaningless.
Inbred seeds are a good thing if they are thoughtfully selected. The Chinese state has been caught conducting espionage against American seed companies to get their hands on our amazing inbred corn seeds. No joke, no troll.

You ever bothered reading public reviews on leafly about violators kush (or threads from many many years ago on many forums?)? I think out of their catalog they got a lot more than one bad ass strain. A lot of their stuff is not so great compared to the american market but they have many time tested certified fuckin bangers. Just bein real /shrug

ACE isn't going broke that's for sure. They've been around since 2005 and will be around for years to come. I really like them because they have stuff that hasn't been all crossed up with everything but the kitchen sink.
You're right. The demand is for cookie cutter hybrids that all taste the same and the only thing many people care about is the THC level. Which is fine. I personally prefer the unique tastes of a good Haze, Central American sativa, African sativa, or Kush from Pakistan. They might not have the high THC content but some like Malawi can be potent as hell. And you can identify them all in a blind taste test because they all taste different not like berries, candy, or whatever the flavor of the day is.
