First four plants went in the ground today ... they've been outside for 4 or 5 days in pots and it's unreal how much they grew in that time ... they love the sun ... hopefully they like having more room for their feet ... pulling new plastic tomorrow morning

In the ground so far ... Bubba Hash, Grape Pupil, Lip[ Smacker, Booger Sugar

Boy Stealth do you have a mighty fine set up. I just love it.
Thx man ... I think you mean Coast of Maine, and yes I've used it... I find just about everything they have is really good stuff... I buy a cpl bags a year and fill my worm bins with it ... by the time it comes out it's like plant crack... i sprinkle it on everything..

check out what I found this past weekend ... Stoned Dust ... I ended up getting 65 lbs of the powder, and 65 lbs or the grit .... it's basically the waste from drilling rock ... it's a local MA company and I picked it up in Wrentham which is right nearby for me ... I'm anxious to see how the plants respond ... hopefully they do well, because I have a lifetime supply of it... lol

Wow. Numbers look amazing. Expensive?
the prices from the website... 1# bag($4.20)... 5#bag($18.99)... 10# ($27.99) ... I'm not really sure if that's good though ... she doesn't have the 65# buckets listed on her site and I honestly don't know what she charges for them... it turns out she knows my brother, I brought her a bucket of my worm castings and a couple clones and threw her a little bit of dough, but we never really spoke about what she charges retail for the buckets.

yea I know ... I was really disappointed by the size of my plants last season ... building the greenhouse took up way too much of my time .... my veg closet was smaller and they outgrew that by late april, so i put them outside... it was still too cold and they didn't like that ... by the time I got them in the ground about mid- June, they were root bound still in 1 gallon pots... they never really seemed to hit their stride after that... I didn't make those mistakes this year and I'm hoping for 10 foot monsters... I ended up cutting down my supports from last year because they were just too low... this year I'm using 8 foot fence T-bar on all 4 corners and then using trellis netting every 18" once they hit 36" tall

What’s your plans on using that cal-mag? In that form I would think it would take awhile to break down.

I’m a fan of malted barely, grokashi and compost extract for those big monsters.

circumstances forced my hand. I ended up having to go out of town so I dropped them Saturday. 3 in 15 gallon pots and one in a straw bale.

No locked area because they are hemp, not mary-g-juana - not regulated by the mass ccc.

Dropped mine into the ground last week. 5 Balkhi, 4 Waziri and 1 Hawaiian Hashbud from The Real Seed Co. and 1 Afghan Kush (in a pot, from seed found in last year’s grow). 51A490F9-83D0-4D40-80E3-97D650DCF7E5.jpegJust in time for nighttime temps around 40 degrees in SEMass. Seeing purpling on new leaves on the majority, any cause for concern or just let them tough it out?

The fine stuff is a powder, it dissolves instantly and I'm using just a tablespoon mixed in with my AACT at the end of the brew.. the grittier stuff I'm mixing in a little with my normal top dressing .... I've always just mixed up my own amendments from using mostly DTE blood, bone, alfalfa, crab, and kelp meals, etc... but I'm trying to make things a little easier on myself this year .... I just ordered a 50# bag of Build-a-Soil's Craft Nutrient Blend the other day... it has pretty much everything I currently use plus a bunch of other stuff, including Malted Barley.... it'll be so much easier than constantly trying to source and keep track of everything I need separately ... I also got my Comfrey beds relocated this year. I lost the patch last year because it got plowed under to make room for the greenhouse... if you're not familiar with Comfrey, check it out, it's amazing shit ... in the end though, everything revolves around my worm castings... they probably account for about 30% of my soil and 50% of my top-dressing mixes

Regarding the worm castings, I saw this in the past on buildasoil when I was making a mix. Not something I knew beforehand, figured i’d share.

“If opting to use worm castings, we advise using only 5-15% of the 33% total compost due to the potential for sodium excess”

Their craft blend is good stuff!

Two lemon autos have begun to flower, two critical purple kush are coming along great, and four cpk clones are starting to grow. I ended up with so much bud last summer i'm still giving a lot away I have stored in jars. My deck only receives direct sun around 9am-6pm so I put them inside under MH at night for 24/7 light.

Well I think my experiment this year with planting autos early might be a flop. I’m thinking the cold stunted the growth as they are growing painfully slow. They look healthy but they are now 3 weeks old and only about 4-5 inches tall. I feel like the harvest will be pretty dismal if they start to flower soon :/

They need alot of light and can’t be transplanted (not sure if you did or not) just saying.

Yeah, the random cold nights around here have been brutal. I jumped the gun on my cucumbers and lost half of them after a couple cold nights this week. I wouldn't stress it yet though, I've found that a lot of my autos have grown slow for the first few weeks then suddenly taken off once their roots are established. With all this hot weather coming up hopefully they explode for you!

While autos do need a lot of light, the whole "can't transplant autos" thing is a myth. I've transplanted about a dozen of them since I started messing with autos earlier this year without an issue. As long as you don't keep them in too small of a container to start with they will be fine. These days I start in 1 gallon pots then move them to their final home when they are 4-6" tall.
