They need alot of light and can’t be transplanted (not sure if you did or not) just saying.
i did. transplant but I used the upside down cup technique someone on here recommended. Actually worked out very well the roots were never disturbed. They get full sun most of the day, it’s just the low 40 deg temps at night I think are screwing me

No locked area because they are hemp, not mary-g-juana - not regulated by the mass ccc.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought they only had to be in a locked area if they are close to where children play (or something like that)? I'm sure as hell not going to put mine in a fenced off area, and never have. I just keep them out of view from the street.

shit man sorry to hear that ... one of mine already outside looked a little sluggish yesterday morning when it got down to 38 the night before , but it bounced back within an hour of the sun coming up... they're loving this sun though today

There’s a hemp farm down the street from me. Thousands of plants no fence. It’s like 5 ft from the street

The law actually reads that all marijuana plants must be cultivated in an area "equipped with a lock or security device" and that it can't be seen from a public place "without the use of binoculars, a plane or other optic device".

But I don't know one single person who has their outdoor garden in a locked area.

Neither do I. I'll put an IP camera outside facing it and will count that as my "security device" ;)

My outdoor garden is in a locked enclosure. Cops made me do it couple years ago

No kidding? Did they fine you or were they just like, fence this thing in?

I thought about enclosing mine but it would actually make it more noticeable from the street so it seems like a silly thing to do.

they came for something unrelated and noticed the plants in my backyard. I live way back in woods nobody knows the house is even back there. The cops had no idea what the law was or what to do. Long story short they called me couple days later and told me I had to enclose them in a locked enclosure. They came back a week later to make sure I was complying. Having had a problem since. They didn’t give me a hard time about it this was just after the law passed and nobody knew anything

If the tap root touched the bottom of the cup it’l be stunted, from my experience.

I'm thinking about putting my 4 plants into flower now, the two lemon autos (brown pots) are already flowering. The area on my back deck is shaded and receives full sun from around 9am-7pm right now so i will use it to my advantage for an early harvest. I will put them inside my grow closet at night for full darkness, I can also turn the hps light on if it's bad weather. I also have 4 clones to play with. Being right on the coast the wind can get bad where i wont even put them outside fearing they will be damaged, it could be perfectly sunny but the wind is blowing sideways.

Hey guys I’m looking for some tips on planting in the ground. I recently dug 4 holes about 16 inches wide and 18 inches deep filled with good soil and put clones in that are about 20 inches tall as they have been vegging for several weeks... I’m worried about the roots being able to spread and grow into the surrounding ground around the hole. Could I get some tips on what to do ? I’m asking here because I live in Massachusetts and I figure mass growers are familiar with the type of ground that we have. Thank you for your time and info.

Anyone in the north shore area? Where do I guys get your seeds or clones?
I’m not sure there if there is a place to buy seeds or clones. Why they don’t offer them in the dispensaries, I don’t know. We all, and especially med patients, have the right to grow now and have no means to gather the most important pieces of the puzzle. I order my seeds online like just about everyone else here. It’s getting to crunch time now though

Edit: Actually I have a hunch, they’d be making less money if all their patients supplied themselves.
