Only Congress can delay the election and both houses have to pass it. While the Senate may go along with a delay, I sincerely doubt the House of Representatives will.

He's likely to fuck his own supporters more than the democrats, they are motivated to show up at the polls in full PPE if required, pissed off voters vote, fear is swept aside. Republicans have always been heavy on the mail in vote, perhaps he's targeting seniors citizens, he's down by 20% and heading south fast with older voters. It will break down his support even further and is an obvious election ploy, he's fucked and it's a move of absolute desperation that will fill the prisons even further, but hey, Donald is stupid enough for anything.

States run elections and if they delay too long the red states won't be able to seat their congressional delegations on jan 3 2021, the current congress expires on Jan 31 2020 and Donald's term expires on Jan 20th at high noon. It will be high noon for Donald alright! The bible will still be warm from Joe's hand when the first moves against Donald are taken. If Donald shows up at the inauguration Joe might have him perp walked away in cuffs as his first official act.

I thin Biden is a terrible terrible option to go against Trump and the Dems better pray this shutdown lasts and can protect Joe from speaking as much as possible... in a head to head debate on a stage Joe will get absolutely blasted. ...
