damn 4 weeks only and look at that turn out looks great. Genetics seem to be pretty good. I’m growing some stuff from ilgm right now myself, about 2-3 weeks from flip. Hope I get something like this lol. Looks awesome, good stuff brotha.

I'm going to be honest with you. That's a big plant, but that's about the only resemblance it bears to GG#4. ILGM is a scam targeting noobs by sticking popular names on random seed mill beans. Not saying you won't get decent bud, but none of it is what they say it is. Also, if you hear someone pushing them on YouTube, I guarantee you they are being paid. Don't let marketing hype you into buying overpriced boof seeds.

Yeah. I didn't know much when I was ordering the seeds. The fact the don't tell you the breeder really rubs me the wrong way nowadays.
My latest order came from Attitude.
Still maybe not the greatest, but I at least know what I got.
Hella good freebies if you catch them at the right time.

I don’t know if I would go as far as calling them a scam who targets new growers. Yes, they don’t carry seeds from well known breeders, and their cultivars aren’t the originals, but they still sell quality seeds that are reliable and produce great results. I’ve bought a fair number of seeds through them and have not been disappointed in the results yet. I’ve never had one of their seeds fail to germinate, and I’ve never had any of their feminized seeds herm on me. How many of the well known breeders can say the same? I see complaints about Barney’s Farm seeds, and seeds from other well known breeders, producing hermaphrodites all the time.

Barney's is repackaged bulk Spanish seed too, man. Bait and switch is rampant. When you buy from ILGM, I'm sure you'll get something that will grow and be serviceable, maybe even good. But it's not what they say it is and it's way overpriced when you can buy the legitimate strains from actual breeders (as opposed to paying for branding), often for much less.

There's a ton of honest seedbanks and breeders with legit genetics. Great Lakes Genetics, DC Seed Exchange, Greenpoint, The Seed Bazaar, and probably 20 others I could rattle off the top of my head if I felt like taking the time to think about it. The only European banks I'll still deal with on occasion at all are Seedheaven and, very rarely, Seedsman for autos. Also a good number of legit breeders who sell direct on IG or on their own websites.

No disrespect intended to Greenpoint, but they have their own issues, too. My current grow is from them, and they are doing fine so far, but the Cherry Wine F2 seeds I got from them were garbage, with serious germination issues, and I'm not the only one who's had germination issues with those seeds from them. They also have some other cultivars that have had a lot of issues with herms. I hate to say it, but you never really know what you are going to get no matter who you go through. And, unless you submit seeds for DNA testing you can't even be sure you are getting what they are claiming to sell you. All I personally care about is that what I buy grows reliably, healthy, and produces a great flower that is close to what they describe for the cultivar they are selling.

I'm far from a "naive kid". I'm in my mid 40s and honestly don't give a shit about half of the boutique strains growers drool over. Everything I've grown from ILGM seeds has been far better quality than any mids I've had. I might care more about the name on the seed pack if I were growing commercially but I grow for myself, and friends, and we've been more than happy with the quality of the flower I've produced.
