Yo @BlackTriangle1551 you growin bodhis black triangle?
I did grow that before this grow im currently on. I am definitely going to grow again some day as I have seeds still, and it was the heaviest indica I have had in years. I have some Gorilla Glue auto seeds and some photoperiod skywalker ghost ×triangle kush seeds for next grow. I'm an indica man haha.

Do you like Black triangle?

As an Indica lover you should definitely try Barney's Farm Peyote Cookies.

LED vs HPS ...
Still a debate ?

LEDs Versus HPS Lamps
The ideal lighting system for cannabis growth is difficult to determine as both LEDs and HPS each have their respective advantages (Viršilė et al., 2017). For large scale of production with uniformly spaced plants, HPS provides a broader uniform light distribution that can cover a larger area of production than LEDs (Nelson and Bugbee, 2014). However, LEDs can be optimized to specific production conditions by controlling periodicity, quantity, and spectrum of the light provided (Pinho et al., 2007). LEDs allow high-density production systems to have a focused spectral quality that can maximize radiation transfer to plants (Nelson and Bugbee, 2014). Their low heat emission allows them to be placed in the plant canopy for maximum cannabinoid yields (Viršilė et al., 2017; Hawley, 2018).

Based on the cost analysis, photon efficacy, and capital costs of fixtures per photon delivered, it has been determined that LED fixtures cost five to ten times more than HPS fixtures, and that current, efficient fixtures available in the US have nearly identical efficiencies of 1.66–1.70 μmol J−1 (Nelson and Bugbee, 2014). The same study showed that both technologies have relatively low long-term maintenance costs. Dutch and Danish LED fixtures with efficiencies of 2.2–2.4 μmol J−1 are available in Europe, whereas the newest HPS lamps (1,000 W) reach up to 2.1 μmol J−1, indicating that LEDs are fully implementable on a commercial scale (Ouzounis et al., 2015).

The owld faithful HPS.

Whatever your happy with and it produces knockout weed, all happy.

Result!
Agreed. I had to switch to LED due to heat problems. Otherwise, I'd still be rocking my 1k horti
My yields have gone down for sure, but that's because I still only hit 1gpw. Still better than shutting down for the summer.

I'm the opposite, cold winters are no good for LEDs, 5 months of the year with low temps.

Back to the HPS and grow all year through, even the height of summer nights can be cold so good.

Hot days no problem too, ballast down a notch and bulb change. Down to 400 until it passes.

Jars are always full and far better smoke under HPS.

For what it's worth I'm getting about 1.5gpw with the Fluence Spydr 2i. I would be able to hit 2+ if I didn't leave a lot of air space to prevent PM issues.

Very very true, I have been banned from there for simply stating my opinion based on actual facts which I researched to the death. I am an LED grower and do very well with them but 420 do not like them so you will never get on with the "firm".

There are a few members there, including owner, mods and hangers on who really do make life hell for those that do not agree with them and speak out.

Worst site in the world and the Ugorg seedbank is terrible in my opinion with nothing at all special.
i was looking for which type of led you used? and found this - made me lol! i left

a 1000watt BossLED and a 450watt ViparSpectra pulling a real wattage of approx 375watts from the wall.
use these only?

No actually, you will have noticed I post rarely until now but they were used for 2 grows because they were freebies and they did very well considering it was 375watts.

I've grown for decades, long before forums such as these were there are stalkers, keyboard warriors, shit stirrers and such like. For your info I've recently sold my modded DIY 720w LED QB/COB set up because its useless in cold months without additional heat sources.

HPS I can grow great weed all year like before the LED surge. Winter is great with them and summer I just knock it down to 400 instead of 600.

As I say, HPS suits me and is a better smoke in my opinion so here we are again on the HPS side.

Each to there own too.
