My 2c on the hps v led is that you need at least 80% of the wattage when switching so 800W of LED to replace a 1000w HPS but the beauty is that you can spread them out and get just as good growth in the corner of the tray/ room as inn the centre. For me HPS grows bigger buds and if I had cheap electricity I would still run HPS for flower but for my little room I like the LEDs as it makes it easier to keep the environment in check.

Yield I find about the same but with a reduced power bill for the LEDs.

I am talking single ended magnetic 1000w HPS for the comparison its all we ever ran.

i got a problem, i normally flower 4 or six plants and have three or four coming up to replace, it seems all these new lights are working too good, and the ones that were supposed to be the replacements are flipping huge now n ready for flower :wall:

i cant flower 12 at once in flower and i dont want to stick em outside, well maybe one or two

ive allready given a mate some, wtf am i gonna do???

i got spare lights and a spare tent,,but i must be useing a shit tin of power allready :wall:


shit is getting outa control

I guess a side by side grow comparison would tell us provided we used the same clone cuttings and same medium but the different lights.
Be worth while doing to save the wondering over the next few years

I know but i was in woolies and just getting a couple easy things to throw in the freezer and it was there. The Ribs and the Pork belly they do is awesome, so i grabbed it.
