Idk a 60+ cm snapper goes off, good fight especially on light gear, plus delicious eating.

..kingfish actually now there's a nice one to chase
Some guys come down here in canoes and try n catch 30plus pounders on light gear...crazy

Kings only come round here once a year. Unfortunately I’ve never had the gear to really chase them, caught a few smaller ones in the harbour mouth but nothing worth a photo

Unusually for me (mid-week), I dropped a couple of caps about an hour ago. Currently cruising on this:

Edit: Apologies, I apprecitate it's not "Everyone's" idea of a "cruise"......

If some one wanted to insulate to soundproof a shed which may or may not have a grow tent inside of it one day, how an what would you use to get the job done.
Walls are mostly cement sheeting with tin roof..

Kings make the reel scream haven’t caught one for a few years. I chase them in a place locals call the rip, only fish to give me proper arm pump. Pound for pound best fight in a fish in my opion

Room inside a room. Steel track and stud, gyprock both sides with insulation in between. Then plaster all the joins up really good, will be virtually silent outside with all fans, filters, pumps etc going.

Nice i was thinkin along the lines of room inside a room.
Would just insultion between walls be enough or would one need to use a sound deadenin mat aswell

Depends on your budget. If you have the money you could use that and the thicker double price gyprock but it works pretty good just with regular gyprock and standard insu.

Any reason for the steel track an stud over just standerd 2x3 timber framing
Theres plenty of ways to quiten fans an all that gear but would stand insultion an plaster be enough to block the sound of a recirculating hydro setup
