Appreciate itYes! Use calmag with every feeding and watering. 1 tsp per gallon of water. And yes you can mix it in the same water as your nutrients. Just make sure you ph AFTER adding mag and Nutes.
No worries. Happy growingAppreciate it

Sorry. Zero experience with sphagnum. Its my first time using RO Water. Im using 50% sphagnum 50% perlite.
Didnt plant the seeds yet.
should I use Calmag even before the seed sprouted?
If not, should I water only with pure RO water?
My RO water here is 3ppm so my concern is the ph and the lack of essencial nutrients.
I did read something about buffering the ph of RO water but it was a long time ago.
so cal mag since the beggining!RO and distilled water requires calmag due to their lack of Ca and mag in the water.
appreciate the info!I personally use calmag from seed to harvest. Well let me rephrase that. 2-3 weeks prior I cut it out. Usually 1 tsp per gallon of water. So if you don’t have that many plants to water, don’t make a gallon of water with calmag in it unless you plan on using it right then. With a seedling you won’t be watering that often so the water will sit there for a while until you use it again which you don’t want.
