Yeah, I'm very surprised by the dimensions. I did NOT expect them to be that small. By the numbers, this should max around 280 watts, but it would be kind of silly to run them anywhere near that - so much juice in a small area. But running it at the typical QB288 wattage makes this an efficiency BOSS.already sold out! unless they just haven't added inventory levels to it yet. also looks like same dimensions as a QB288 so the slate heatsinks should work for these too I am guessing?

Think you mean XLG-240-M-A and yes sir, it's very much so suitable. Just be sure you've got a multimeter to read the output on the pos and neg leads while turning the potentiometer to get yourself right to 2500-2800mA.Would a MEAN WELL HLG-240-M-A be a good fit for 4x qb 120 boards?
Ive seen people do it this way, but other people not. I usue greengenes for a mid3el for alot of my stuff, abd he does equal spacing. Is there a writeup or a quick explanation you could give me to explain why that spacing works better?Your absolute best option is almost what you've got layer out on your first drawing.
But if you want truly even spread, your middle 2 rows have to be spaced a bit further apart and the outer two need to be about 2/3 the distance of the center rows.
Because in every ppfd and Par testing you ever see with equal spacing, it falls off at the ends.Ive seen people do it this way, but other people not. It applies even if you had a 48" wide fixture. It's because of the crossover effect from the individual boards/strips.But the ends of my qbs are the approx edge of my growspace. I could see that if my fixture was smaller, would it still hold the same? My fixture is about 42 inches wide for a 4 foot table.
4 Diablo boards wired in series. Yes Sir, that will work with that driver.Just ordered 4 of the 648 diablo boards would the inventronics EUD-600S280DT that comes with the DIY qb288v2 4 board kit work for these boards as well?

Ordered a 4x4 gorilla tent going to get a dimmer also in case I need to dim it down some. It will be my first grow and just been researching and figured at full power would be around 38 watts a sq ft I may be mistaken completely new just mainly been researching here. What size space you going to light with them? do you realize that by diode count those 4 are equivalent to NINE QB 288! that's a PPFD of hell guessing, 2000+! Using the 288 specs I estimate 260,000 L/W and at 75 watts per board the μmoles/joule is 2.7.
anyway you look at it this is going to be a killer light!
