Should I give up?

A Jiffy pellet is for germinating a seed., you don't need to worry about water, because after it's soaked you never water it again.
You keep the pellet covered so no moisture can escape, once the seed has broken surface you plant it in your growing medium.

That's what I was told but mine dried out and the seeds died after cracking open the shell.
I replanted the seed In a new jiffy and made sure it stayed moist by means of spraying inside the dome each day and that did the trick.

Your using LED's right?
No need too worry about heat.
A pot plant can do fine in a temp range from 60 F (below that growth is diminished) up to 90 F (after that you will stress it)

I am using LEDs, however it was to cold inside the tent when I started so had a greenhouse tube heater running full time to help hold heat and a small electric heater to keep the temp up.
Weather has changed drastically this week and temps are high now so was having difficulty keeping them steady. The inkbird thermostat will control my electric heater and exhaust fan to keep a steady 27°c during the day.

Low temps are not a problem for a plant, high temps are.
If you can exist in the environment, your plant can
The only time you should worry about temps are when you germinating seeds, then they should be at least 60 F in order to crack

You're not supposed to keep it in a dome, it's for germination, no light required.
