What to do with excess clones??

I hate having to pitch all these beautiful plants. I grow in 5gal fabric pots with no extra room and have been thinking of just throwing the extra clones in small 1-2gal pots and finding room to let them bloom, maybe use for hash or cooking.

Still too early to put them outside but my greenhouse gets delivered today.

I've given a few away but too many sketchy people to post on CL or similar

I've even thought of setting up at a farmer's market and advertise "Free Cannabis Plants" then have my wife set up a separate booth selling dirt & pots for $15

Idk what to do

Throw them in small plants and flower them. I wouldn't be setting up booths offering free clones even if you're in a legal state. Give them to friends, grow them, or kill them. You really don't want to go public and let everyone know your business even if you are legal.

These were in 3 liter pots. You can get a decent yield out of a small pot. These surprised me with the final yield I got.

Toss 'em. I know it doesn't feel right, but you'll get used to it. Just like the larfy buds at harvest. Toss that shit! Unless you're not harvesting enough for yourself, and need to use as much of the plant as possible for your supply, toss all the leaves, branches, and everything else that isn't top-shelf buds. It's not a big deal. Just discard extra clones and starts.

That's what I do

You can take the healthiest clone, and grow out a mother. But you'll have to set up the environment to keep a mother. You can keep them fairly small, with some techniques and practice. Although I'm growing out an agressive white Widow to keep as a mother for a while, I usually don't even do that anymore because seeds have gotten so cheap and widely available.

So, take his excess clones and use them to grow more clones?

I either gift them to a homie or toss them. I was thinking about sneaking around Boulder and planting them randomly but all the homeless would tear through them.

In with the compost....and experiments, side by sides for techniques, torture, let the cats and dogs eat them...or prove to someone how hard a weed is to kill, been torturing this one for two weeks in flower...lol

All great ideas, last few years I've been tossing them but after reading some of the newbie threads that can't get seeds to pop and mature; I kind of feel guilty. Though we're a rec legal state, wish there was a way I could sell them to a dispensary.

I've got 40 acres, so as soon as the weather gets nice I'll maybe landscape with them LOL

Unfortunately you need to be registered with the state, to sell clones. It's taxed and tracked from your home to the dispensary. I doubt they'd even take stray clones because of quality control.

Believe me, you're not depriving anyone of plants.

Plant them in front of the state Capitol building, that puts a smile on everyone's face when reporters ask where they bought them.
