Getting really tired of my girls looking cube shaped due to my exhaust sucking so bad
I have a 4x4 and 4x8 Vivosun tent and didn't want to break the bank for some bars from Gorilla (only ones I saw) so I came up with this.
4'x4' tent materials...
8- 1/2" pvc tees
2- 1/2"x10' schedule 80 pvc pipes.(SCH80 has more rigidity than regular pvc. Grey in color)
Slide the tees over your outer poles. Cut pipe just a little longer than needed. I chose for my front/back bars to be the higher pair but it doesn't matter. What does matter is making sure your push button locks on your poles are facing to where they will "lock" into the center of your bottom tee sets. It's not absolutely necessary. You can use zip ties or whatever to lock your tees where you want them on your poles, but as you can see the pole locks have enough grip to support a few clip-on fans so good enough for the veg tent. I'm only running 3 bars in here since there's a bit more open space than the flower tent.
In the 4x8 flower tent I am putting in 2 sets (1 low/high) and think I might use some of the spring clips that you squeeze to release around the poles so I can place the bars exactly where I want them.
I managed to get all the materials for both tents for $33 from Menards/Lowes. That wouldn't have covered the cost of a set just for the 4x4.
Figured I'd share. Hope some find them useful.
