What is the best strain to grow in a tent UK?

Oh your tryna go outdoor lol, goodluck with that in the Uk weather isnt the best thats true lol. If you dont want to grow inside i would atleast buy a greenhouse so that the temps are higher and you can control the watering and humidity which are all key parts when going for big potent yields
Not really outdoor more of a cross between the two, after other comments I think I need a heater

Hi
Ok i need a heater, good air movement and odour control.

What are ideal temps or again is this strain dependant?

How did that Durban poison taste, never tried?

No, you probably won't need one during spring/summer. Having lights on at night and off during the day can help with things getting too hot in summer also. Ideal temps at lights on is around 20c to 26c, lights off about 18c.

I like to run my room all year between 21C and max 28C. Trying to maintain 21C lights off 24C lights on.
But plants will grow between 16C and 32C.
At both extremes you’ll get issues if you’re constantly achieving 16C lights off and 32C lights on as certain processes stop or slow down at those temps etc.

you have to bare in mind that most strains are bred in an indoors usually in almost perfect environments.
they are then tested by breeders to see what extremes they can cope with.

my honest answer to you is that youll need some baseline readings from your garage now based on the outside temperatures you’re currently seeing and we can work out what sort of spikes you might see during the grow.

a friend of mine grows in the attic space above his garage. (fully brick built garage) and he had to build an insulated room for his grow in that space to allow him to control the environment better inside. (3x400w Hps)

remember we need to control both the hi and LO temperatures not just the high.

These were grown in a greenhouse in Scotland last year mate. Only 3L pots but they did well considering. Durban poison Auto.

So you should be looking at investing around about £300-£400 for your needs.

£90 fan
£100 filter
£10 ducting
£10 oscillating fan
£10 pots
£100 seeds
£30 growing medium
£30 hydro contactor relay for your timer
£10 timer

plus your tent costs it you haven’t already purchased it and whatever your nutrients cost
100 quid seeds man depends what strain get get way cheaper than that lol if your tryna run a budget ingrow your good with like 200 pound

For any decent breeder with stable genetics that have been around for over 2 years then yeah £100 on seeds is a little pricey but not really.

Approx 10-15 feminised seeds for that price.

Hi longutter,

Would that apply even if I only run say mid may to late Oct?
Mid May to October should be ok.
Insulation is the key. You need a bit of heat or growth will be very slow
I use the tents and a hut 365 days a year. It's a challenge but I get by lol
I had an 80cm x 80cm in garage covered with alsorts of DIY insulation, worked ok.
The 4 x 4 tent in there is harder to keep warm, especially at lights off. Around 400 watts of leds in there at moment
I run a 12v PC fan for extraction and recirculate air in the tent via the carbon filter.
Floor is insulated and there's a heatmat the pots sit on. Gotta keep the soil warm.

I've RQS Gorrilla in there at the moment.

As to strains, get some indica hybrids
