Aussie Growers Thread

This is my NL harvested Jan 2020. I got just over 13 oz. she was the first plant i grew under my new Timber COB 3VL. I grow in a 4x2 tent.
There were some issues with broken branches, seedling stretch, massive amount of fan leaves, ugly as fuck plant, FIM instead of clean topping and then finally bud rot on 2 of my largest buds. But end result smoke is fabulous and really benefits from the 2 month cure. Tasty and clean. All i used was Flora Nova Bloom as my nute the entire grow, never exceeding 850 ppms. What about yours?
Damn, that's a nice plant. Well done

We just did a grow using coco, Flairform grow, then bloom both 1part, then added a heap of guano. room was 2.4 x 2.3 x 2.1h. 20 plants, Strain Barny's Farm liberty Haze yield 7lb + using 4 x 600hps, 2 x 400 hps.
Nice i just got 7lb from same area with 4x600 hps from 4 plants and this run added a 315 cmh keen to see how the mixed spectrum goes

Hso blue dream i got some of the liberty to
Both nice strains. I did a sog with Bruce Banner from ILGM. It kicks arse. peels many out. SOG got up to 2.3 oz on just one, and had 90. Worth a go, but about 2 weeks longer. Can speed it up using General Hydroponics ripening formula. Hard to get in aus or NZ. I just imported a heap of GH from US, cost a fortune in freight but worth it IMHO.

I like it, some people don't and find it hard to grow, i think using sog with it is the one. huge yeilds. tight, not much clipping. Weights heavy.

Think if you add some fulvic, seaweed and bat guano would be a benefit.

Here's some info for you all.

1. HPS only
-Lowest investment
-Proven technology
-Higher amount of waste heat/electricity consumption

2. HPS + CMH
-Slightly higher investment than HPS only
-With enhanced blue, full spectrum light and small UV component gives a higher quality end product than HPS only

3. LED only
-Much lower electricity consumption (35-40%) with additional lower cooling requirement with further electricity savings.
-High investment cost (4-5times the amount of HPS only)
-Good spectrum with high blue amount yields high quality end product

4. LED + HPS
-Medium investment
-Saves 20-25% electricity with an additional lower cooling requirement
-High quality end product as we can add extra blue light with the LED
and 5 CMH with LED

But really people should buy lighting to suite their environment and budget. What works for one doesnt work for all.

Bullshit. Ill bore you with a science vid if you want.
Ill stick to actually doing it.
Ill let you tell everyone how to.

You may be get more or may be better but as i stated it looks better in bag mixed spectrum hps/cmh.

Cmh alone looks like frankestein buds.

CMH is awesome, it's even better when used with HPS. I've done the tests and have also been involved in discussions with Gavita who share that opinion.
