I own my own business. I build houses. But I got some leads on decks that need built so I’m probably just gonna do that solo until this coronavirus hoax is finally resolved (no thanks to trump)
So in other words your a subcontractor ?

Yep but it looks like I will be doing just contracting on leads being tossed my way
So then technically you own just a trade name or numbered company, and you Probably get paid by the sq ft l, subbing off someone is pretty much like working for them accept their getting the better deal

Yeah pretty much but it’s fun work and pays well. I haven’t heard of any other framers that have it as good as we do

and like a moron I’m gonna walk away from it so I can work solo

Nah, we don't need an ulterior profit motive like the conspiracy theory party.

Science! It's a thing.
Bull shit, most of the “Improvements” to the code are just a cash grab, here they have to spray foam the rim joists, all fine and dandy but what about the other exterior walls, it may seal the basement better but the majority of homes most never will do a basement devo
Installing a 200,000 btu on deman water heater to get a rebate, so it runs for 3 hours that’s 600.000 btu and it fires every time you use the hot water,

a 50 gal hot water tank is 45,000 btu
That tank many would fire for a total of 4 hours each day (depends on the recovery) so well say 250,000 btu for the day

now the on demand running for 3 hours I bet it’d be more with a family of 4

so just because the one fires on demand it’s better for the environment because most hot water tanks have standing pilot(mid effi), the high effy used to have standing as well I think their all fore on call for heat

but people think because it’s called high efficiency it’s better for the environment
In a way it is but your burning 3-4times gas per day the condensation that from the products of combustion is gonna eventually wreak havoc on all our older already strained sewer systems how is helping if your burning a lot more gas and the cost to fix/install

This is what all your posts look like to a normal person. And my tankless water heater kicks fucking ass.

Way cheaper to run, that's why the utility company sent me a rebate card. Twice.
How is it cheaper to

how is it cheaper when it requires electricity and burns 4 times the gas in a hour than your mid efficient hit water tank?

some tankless heaters draw quite a bit of amperage considering what little it’s operating
I’ve seen a couple that draw a full 12 amps
To put that into perspective that’s like have 12 plugs with phone chargers plugged in

They sent a rebate card so you’d install the unit, sure they’ll eat that rebate because now your gas use went up drastically and so it created work for the gasfitters who install them the utilities company who may have to come upgrade your meter to accommodate the extra gas load and they profit more off you for your life time

Because it doesn't.

Do you Trump assholes lie and spin every conceivable facet of life?

Energy efficient, moron.

Go look it up.

They send a rebate card once every couple years when it gets serviced after you turn in the paper work and receipt.

You obviously don't have one and don't know a damn thing about them.

So they give you a little rebate come in every couple of years pretend to service it (the majority have no serviceable parts in them. ( I doubt the pull the burner and clean it) I’ll assume they flush it as well. See it’s. win win for them, they’ll have you as a customer guaranteed because you want that rebate so it. Keeps them in your home and eventually they’ll offer you one to replace your furnace blah blah blah, it’s a gimmick the longer you can set your feet in that house the more profit their making and that rebate card costs them penny’s (I’m pretty sure it’s tax deductible on their side for them “gift card”
They got it figured

Also look at this the cost to install one is about 4-5 times more than a hot water tank,
They want you to install them because they require regular maintenance (they plug easily because your rapidly heating water and it pulls the temp hardness out faster) they get the possibility of selling you a water filtration/treatment system
A hot water tank gets installed then forgotten about until it leaks your a loony to service it because for the cost of service and how long the warranty is you could buy a brand new one with the moneybsaved

they got you now, are the units nice? Yes do they have their uses yes
Just because it’s called energy efficient doesn’t mean it truly is, it uses tje max it can out of the combustion but I’ve also heard from more than one person that they put out just as much emissions as your mid efficient, these ones all got pushed because they have way more safety’s and redundancy that there’s more chBce of service calls

You're a fucking cement head.

Built like a fucking Mercedes, you have to change an electrode once in a while.

You know nothing, Sergeant Shultz

Keep babbling though, it's amusing to see a broke dick Trump chump with a $369 hot water tank bitch about technology.

Wait till you’re inducer goes or the gas valve, that’ll be a chunk of change,
Exchanger gets plugged (unlikely but if your on well water and the dummy who shocks it flushed through it and the well hasn’t been done in a long time say good bye)

im not against them like I said they have their purpose, but in. 10-15 years your gonna spend that money again because parts are obsolete now so your spending that money again and possibly more, it’s fine if you want it but your not listening

how is it more efficient if you burn more gas, have to have it serviced often
It’s actually creating a bigger carbon foot print than that hot water tank that you’ll get 8-10 years out of and most likely no extra service bills
