Best Sour Diesel?

I'm testing out cali connections right now. They still have a few weeks but the smell off each pheno is ridiculous. One cut smells just like aj's cut the other has slightly less of the fuel to it. Both smell great, it will be a while before I get to a smoke test though.

This is always a serious debate....some people swear by Rez's....then other people swear by Cali Connection....I've heard a couple positives about Reserva Privada, but also a lot of negative....and Loud Seeds is supposed to be FIRE, however I've never seen a smoke report, but supposedly they have the AJ's cut...which is supposed to be the real deal sour.....but others say that it's not the real deal & that Rez has the real deal or Swerve has the real deal....

so honestly, i can't even answer the question, you'd have to run it yourself.....personally, I went with Loud's AJ's Sour Diesel....but haven't grown them yet, so I can't report.
Lot people don't know Rez is a punk theif of Chem genetics.

Most folks feel Sour D is a sativa leaning hybrid. But nowhere near pure. It's pretty uppy but it knocks you down too IME. Also takes a while to flower. Stretchy too.

I don't think the actual lineage really known though and there's plenty of dispute about it. Eventually the genetic testing will tell us the truth, but until then:

these are sourdiesel x chemdog from rez(when i didnt know better) crossed with a great romulan male from about 5yrs ago but growing out right now, these 4 are from 4 different pheno's from the rez pack, they tend to be roundish sort of plants with long branches, not xmas tree shape, the buds are small golfball type nugs spread apart about every 2" along the branches, an average yield really, the nugs cure to a golden color & are extremely loud when growing & when cured, great bag appeal, high is very worthy of it heritageIMG_2262.JPG IMG_2263.JPG

A few years ago at a cannabis show, SourD got brought up. Sum it up the real original Sour D dors not exist anymore. Its been crossed, "improved", and selective line breeding by many breeders that the Original pheno may only exist in clone form if at all.

Ive grown some Nepalese that reek like off road diesel. Delicious! But never tried passing it as Sour D.

Just finished a run of HSO Amherst sour diesel. It's pretty rank. Definitely from the sour family. I'd run it again in a heart beat. Dug deep and found an old pack of caliconnection original sour diesel in my seed bank. 7 of 10 germed. 4 in the flower chamber now
