Silver Linings

Not a silver lining so to speak but good news nonetheless… since I stopped growing I can't bring myself to buy weed over the offseason with unemployment and paying retail prices and whatnot. But yesterday a customer straight up gave me an eighth. Is the first time I've had weed/ smoked in probably 3 months.
I have a bunch stored in my garage, seems I'm a better producer than consumer. I need to find a trustworthy person to flip some zips for me to pay back some of the electric bill...lol

Yesterday afternoon was spent with some nice Golden Teachers, school was not out!!

And before that trip I went to Home Depot, Ralph's, Gas Station for NON-ESSENTIAL reasons. It was so fun.

There was bread, eggs, and my favorite Stubbs BBQ sauce at the store. Fresh asparagus for $1.48 lb.
Yep, bread, eggs but no lunch meat and the dry dog and cat food that was filled is damn near all gone. Plenty of beer and wine still. and coffee, I thought that would be gone. Out of astroglide and preparation H...uhh.. picking up for a friend.

Hell yeah I'll take that:

"Washington, D.C.- Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), and Senate Finance Committee Ranking Member Ron Wyden (D-OR) today unveiled a plan to increase by $200 the monthly benefit for all Social Security, Veterans, and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) beneficiaries through the end of 2021, which would improve the lives of millions of Americans and help our economy stabilize and recover from the national emergency caused by the spread of the coronavirus. This plan would give seniors, veterans, and people with disabilities who have earned this benefit by contributing to Social Security with every paycheck, an additional $4,000 over the next two years."

I think all those "D's" in front of the names will ensure it doesn't make it through the Senate. Heaven forbid some non billionaires got a hand, they have already cut food stamps unless you work 20 hours a week. I guess handicapped people don't need to eat.

There are plenty of negative things on which to focus, this thread is meant for positive things only. What good things have you observed, either in your own lives, or elsewhere in the world, that are a result of current crises?

So think of something positive, take a hit, put on a smile, and post away...
I've not seen a pissing match between RiU members in several days. It could be due to..
  1. People are being nicer to each other due to the CV hassles that we all share.
  2. I've put the majority of folks who tend to argue (including every post starter in the political section) on ignore.
  3. I've just been lucky and have looked at all the right threads
