Silver Linings

You may have seen me look for these in other threads, but during this trying time in the world's history, I thought this subject deserved its own thread. There are plenty of negative things on which to focus, this thread is meant for positive things only. What good things have you observed, either in your own lives, or elsewhere in the world, that are a result of current crises? For example - Normally, I LOVE to go out to dinner. It's one of my fav things to do: get a couple of friends, spend money on great food, drink, and service, and enjoy clever conversation for hours. Since I'm staying in these days, I'm becoming a much better cook. I live alone (glorious!) and it is up to me to determine the quality of my meals. I'm buying great quality ingredients (mostly online), and watching fantastic online cooking shows. It's nice to have a routine of getting lifted, putting on some music, and taking 40 mins or so to take my time and cook a nice meal. By the time this is over, I should be much more accomplished, and it's a skill I'll always utilize. See? Little silver lining.

So think of something positive, take a hit, put on a smile, and post away...

We live in America

This is going to cause everyone to realize we work too much and make them rethink spending time with loved ones.

Except for the poor people stuck working through all of this. Thank God for those people!

I've decided that seeing as I have a 20 year old son who is now unemployed & a wife who now is also not going to work for awhile (she's a teacher). I'm going to paint the entire interior of my home.
I've been looking at the need for it for years, and now I have the perfect opportunity
Yup, I'm gonna make something out of this pile of shite that we live in now.:)

I'll be perfectly fine if handshaking and touching strangers never comes back. It's a stupid tradition anyway.
Do you know where fist-bumps originated?
In jails, because no one wanted to touch each other because of germs.
Physical contact is imperative for your average Human & that is going too be very hard to curtail.

hunting 4 strains 20 phenos that should be done in couple weeks. Should have a nice supply of quarantine kush on hand.

Set up a neighbors basement where he wants me to "fillerup" so have a nice big space. His wife left so it's a free for all and he wants cash. Can do.

Learning little man is a daily thing which is how I'd do it if i had my druthers. Unfortunately it's near impossible these days

I've always wanted to be self sufficient in providing food so I've been looking into converting our dog kennel into chicken coop. Learning how to make bread/ pasta etc. And building a large garden. I have about a decade plus of leaf litter that's been tilled into alfalfa field and a huge pile of dirt from when i dug out my pond which should be some nice starting material.

Lotta things on my list that i never has time for.. Which we may just have here now. Crazy times.
