I'm not from that area or that era (just a little bit younger, a mid 80's baby) so I'd be lying to ya if I said I knew them. But when you're talking graffiti/hip hop you're talking my language. However, I can't say I know those crews. I'm pretty schooled on my history but I don't know absolutely everything about everything. I know alot of writers from that era though but alot of them are from the city. Old school searchers, ram raiders and shit like that through to Christian writers.

Fuck me swinging, I've said why too much about myself! Luckily for me nearly every hip hop head and writer is into this shit so it's hardly going to burn my anonymity.

That’s it; know a solid writer from your era; still writes here and abroad...very talented. TAV was Today’s Artisitic Vandals (Unique was probably the best well known member) and there was One Step Beyond.....equally good and both had Unique as a member...lol

Claymore was a no go zone after dark; Minto was better as it was more spread out....I remember Mortimer Ave was blocked off with stolen cars at either end with bonfires all over the place one New Year’s Eve; place was a fucking riot all night long....that was late 80s; all the coppers did back then was park a few more wagons at either end and wait for the carnage to die down and come mop up...they were equally fucked up areas as was most of the area back then
