That's what I do as well. Kind of like the sun just went behind a cloud for a bit heheI just dim my lights way down when I have to feed or water or inspect.
I wish I could just dim them all at the same time like you guys, but I have 5 different lights in my closet that I would have to adjust individually. It would be sweet to have a dimmer for all of them at the same time, but I'm not there yet, lol. That's what I do as well. Kind of like the sun just went behind a cloud for a bit hehe
I is in UK and bought these a few years ago from Lidl, the German shop supermarket. Apparently they have shops in US too.Anyone have recommendations for cat 3 sunglasses?
Oh I don't have a dimmer for all of them lol....I have 11 different drivers and would have to dim each individually. Soon I will have a panel with individual controls, like an old school equalizer somebody said (if I could even get the sliders instead of knobs that would be cool), time to start searching lol, I do t want the big sliders like a light switch lolI wish I could just dim them all at the same time like you guys, but I have 5 different lights in my closet that I would have to adjust individually. Yeah, I think I will dig around for my boarding glasses if I still have them.I just wear my baseball cap.
If you get anything don't get any made for blurple LEDs.
Snowboard goggles would be good.
I was thinking about even just turning them off until I get glasses in the mail I imagine it won't hurt any to have the lights off for short intervals.I just dim my lights way down when I have to feed or water or inspect.
Ya, the Method's kick ass. I started a thread a while ago since I was so impressed with mine. After I got the 7's, I noticed that my eyes didn't feel like they were getting burnt up anymore. I wear a hat too.Method 7's and a long billed fishing cap. There are five things I don't cheap out on in life and my eyesight is top of the list.
You sure?I dunno. being there's absolutely NO UV whatsoever in LEDs, I'm not deathly worried about it. I just squint and dont look right into the diodes. Pretty common sense.
Of what part?You sure?
NO UV in led's....did you fully jump on board the "UV diodes don't work" wagon? Or were you just talking about the majority of boards you can buy with the white and reds?Of what part?
I'm talking about the 99.999999% of LED fixtures being used to grow right now, where using some form of eye protection would be appropriate.NO UV in led's....did you fully jump on board the "UV diodes don't work" wagon? I'm just getting a little feisty because I WANT MY LIGHTS!!! DAMN CORONA VIRUS CRAP, LED'S CAN'T CATCH IT SO MAIL THOSE DAMN THINGSI'm talking about the 99.999999% of LED fixtures being used to grow right now, where using some form of eye protection would be appropriate.
Its a pity Teknik is around anymore. In the world of human centric lighting seems like there is a bunch of requirements needed to class the safety/hazard of a product. It boggles my small mind. EN 62471 is something that comes up in my searches. But access to that document comes at a crazy price.I'm just getting a little feisty because I WANT MY LIGHTS!!! Im gathering parts to mount those pwms to a panel.. Sliders sound perfect but my pwm's come with a dial. Ill have 4 dials for 4 drivers@1 cob each. I plan to use kill a watt readings to calibrate settings.Oh I don't have a dimmer for all of them lol....I have 11 different drivers and would have to dim each individually. Have you seen any frames, panels, housings etc to use as a base? Ive been looking for possible candidates but nothing at all looks workable so far.
