I didn't read the whole thread, but I will relate what I went through about 35 years ago. My so called friend ripped one of my patches. I saw his car parked beside the road, and when I went in the back way, the weed was gone. When I got back out to the road, so was his car.
I wanted to kill him. Nothing else made sense to me. But I rode a bike back then and my only gun was a .22 pump that was a whole lot older than I was. For over a year I tried to come up with a plan to kill him and not get caught. Also important to me, was not to get myself killed. I put a lot of time into the planning, but never could come up with something that was sure to work, and not land me in the jail or below ground. It did take years to get it out of my system, but I don't worry about it anymore. In fact I had slept with his old lady before any of this happened, so I figured I had already wronged him far more than stealing a few ounces of weed. He was low class and me hanging around him was making me low class too. I used this as an excuse to shed him as well as several other hangers on that were in my life at the time.
I had shown him the patch, so the lesson learned for me was to show no one who is not an equal partner, and to have no partners. If you are having trouble with your patches being ripped, find new woods to grow in. Folks look on found weed just like found money. Most will pick it up.
