I saw this old clip of London in 1870, everyone in that picture (young and old) is fucking DEAD. They didn’t have corona virus back in them days so what killed them ALL? Cruiseships probably? What's the big deal. It doesn't appear to be particularly virulent. Not many people are dying and the ones that do already have compromised respiratory issues and are in their late 60s and 70s. Most people struck down by it don't even know they were sick. Oregon had to go to a nursing home to highlight the dangers of COVID-19. Why the overreaction and panic? It ain't no big thing.
If you ever wanted to go on a cruise or travel to an exotic location now is the time. It's not gonna kill you and the prices are so good you'll never see anything like it again.
Note: The human race will probably go extinct as a result of a virus, plague or pox but it's sure as shit not this one.
I think the problem is that the President is allowing our country to panic by constantly being on TV talking about it and undercutting all the professionals so people don't trust what is being done to stop this, and nobody has a real idea of what it is going to be yet because of all of the noise on it being spread around is drowning out the actual science. What's the big deal. The numbers you posted represent a fucking disaster and very dark future for many folks. If these estimates are accurate the medical systems in many places will become overwhelmed.MATH From: American Hospital Association "Best Guess Epidemiology" for #codiv19 over next 2 months:

Here's something interesting about FOX news viewers, most will have a fatality rate of over 4% (some much higher) and a high hospitalization rate and risk of severe illness, that should bitch slap em back to reality.Fux news, pretty well says it.
How Old Is the Average Fox News Viewer in America? The median age of a prime-time viewer was 68 as of 2015. A study done by the Pew Research Center found that around 60% of Fox News viewers identify as conservative.
