So its not talked about much, but its pretty clear to see that roots grow different in different mediums.
Soil to water seems to have to grow a different type of root out, so the longer you leave it in dirt, the longer itll take for the roots to be "water ready".
Its something ive noticed with my seedlings ive put into the cloner. Any roots they had growing in the trays pretty much just stop growing and new ones start.

If you pop seeds in something loose you can pull them up and put them in a cloner at less than a week old and let them grow out a bit from there.
Its been going well for me so far.

What do you recommend for popping seeds out in then? I have done soil myself and it is like performing surgery to get them out without damaging the roots

Use coco. Either one you use, you just gotta get it in to the Aero cloner about a week after it was started in the soil/coco, otherwise, it gets too hard to remove dirt from a too large root mass. Any sooner, there's just not enough roots.

How do you feel about rapid rooters? I got a bag of those to try out, and then I’m assuming once the plant is established I can put the hole plug in a basket with clay pellets around it? That was my thought anyways. I don’t have coco
