I live in Colorado. I literally just got done helping feed homeless folks a hot meal tonight.

There's a lot of people in this sub who are content to just sit on their ass and let it happen.
I'm not one of them.

You might start by doing what I did this afternoon; I volunteered to help provide a hot meal for them.

It is a wonderful thing then that 'opposed ideals and policies' shouldn't be what two party system is about then huh.

The only people that are selling that nonsense are the ones lying to you to keep power. We can do things as a country to the benefit of everyone, even if we do have slightly different ways to go about it. It is a shame that the Republicans have sold this idea to keep power, and it is a shame that some people have fallen into the trap of believing this.

We are at a weird historic point in our society, the snake oil salesmen have the ability to now figure out exactly how everyone ticks in order to sell them their junk.
