Interesting, huh?that explains it well .. interesting ... I didn't think you were going to need the fan to cool the drivers, but I guess you do ... i'm really curious to how your plants respond to the light change this late in flower, i bet they handle it well
I don’t know if I “need” the fan for the LEDs since they have the pin heat sinks, but it’s recommended on their website. As usual, I think I went overboard with fan size, but I wanted something commercial that would last more than 2-3 grows.
The plants are handling the light well based on the leaves. One of the benefits of this light spectrum is that the lux meter appears to be a good gauge for determining light distance. These plants are getting about 60-75,000 lux which is great for late flower. I’m hesitant to push it much more than that, especially this close to harvest.
