Strain....Original Glue with 7-9 week flowering period (yeah, right)
Day number 124 since germination
Week 11 since flipping to 12/12

Getting close....I feel like the trichomes are getting clearer each time I check. LOL.

Would you harvest??

Wow. Hard to call. Bud looks done. Trics...hmm.
I'd break one off do a quick dry and try out the buzz.

Others are looking great. But man it reminds me I'm soooo happy to not be dealing with soil/coco at all :)

**edit. I could be crazy, but it does seem like on my last grow, trics kinda did the same on the ones I let go longest. Clear-cloudy-some amber-clear+lots of amber. So yeah I'd try some out***

Finally....Day 126 and it’s harvest day for the three Original Glue and one OG Kush.

There were some nice colas on the Glue. Overall I decided to harvest with cloudy for a more energetic feeling. I used a bowl trimmer on most of the buds and swear that it saved me 60-90 minutes per plant easily. A80FDAF3-5D18-4696-A390-F3D1D890FB83.jpeg

Day 18 with the Sativa heavy strain grow. The plants have now been moved into their final containers with coco coir and perlite. I ran out of coco buffered coir, so one plant is still in one gallon. They are responding to the topping quickly, especially the jock horror.

How do you like the results using the Bowl Trimmer? I bought one a couple years back and have used it a couple times (plus lent it to my buddy to use). Have only tried wet trimming though, haven’t tried the dry trimming blade.

Also got a Trim Bag for this past outdoor crop’s harvest so I could try a dry trimming method as well (have tried both dry and wet trims using scissors in the past and have generally preferred dry), which is nice, but you have to wait till the buds are very dry for it to work.

Anyhow, congrats on the harvest! Will be interested to hear if you notice a difference having used the UV supplemental lighting or not.

I loved the bowl trimmer. It saved me at least 60-90 minutes per plant (if not more) and allowed me to trim some of the buds that I would have normally thrown away. Overall it gets two thumbs up. I think it trims better wet than dry since the leaves are sticking out and easier to cut when they are still alive.

I think the UVB increased the trichomes, but I don’t have a control group to verify that. I do plan to use it again, but I will wait until the last 2-3 weeks instead of running it during the full flowering period.

Well, I took a long break but I’m back. The Timber lights are rocking this grow too, so let’s see how they do in flower. I’m currently on Day 5 of 12/12 lighting. I’ll update every few days as I continue to defoliate.

So what’s in the tent??

Day 8 since Flip to 12/12 lighting. The tallest plant, Blue Dream, has grown from 15 inches last week to 23.5 inches this week for a total gain this week of 8.5 inches in one week. I noticed some heat stress yesterday on the leaves, so I raised the lights by 4 inches and dialed back the dimmer to 80k lux.

Feeding GH Flora Trio at 75% of recommended. The rest of the supplements are at 100 percent. Added some Recharge to the feed to…..that always perks the girls up. I’m feeding the “early bloom” column.

Plants look nice. I really like that whiteboard. I do something similar, just in my notes on my iPhone.
Thanks! I picked that idea up from another forum member. it’s easier to update and take a photo than it is to type in the diary. I also do this because my eyes are too old for the feeding charts, but I’m always looking for an easier way to do it.

Day 10 since flip and the girls have grown 10 inches since I flipped them. Started at 15” and they are now 25“. I’ve switched from 12/12 lighting to 11/13 lighting as well to speed this process along a little more. I’ve read that strains with Haze in it can run long under 12/12 lighting.

I am feeding the Flora Trio at 50 percent of recommended levels and the rest of the supplements are at 100%.

Lighting has been dimmed to 80,000 lux level.

Happy Monday! The tallest girl (Blue Dream) gained two more inches since Friday. She’s up to 27 inches, which is 12 inches of growth since I flipped my lights. I’m feeding GH Flora .series at 50 percent of recommended. I’m at 100 percent of the remaining nutrients and supplements.

The Terpinator recipe is using Dr. Who’s recipe which is available online.

i have not maintained an even canopy, so having separate lamps allows me to adjust. I added some lifts under one plant to get her top closer to the lights.

Buds are starting to stack on the colas…..i love this part of the growing process.827AD3AF-4349-4AF3-A610-E250513BE108.jpeg
Experiencing some wind burn from leaving this in front of the oscillating tower fan for too long. I will start rotating the plants to prevent this. All of the leaves look great except for those in front of the fan.
