True story. I spent $250 total on the buildEww eww - between rock hard place; unfortunately can't afford to get top of the line lights.
At the local hardware store in the paint section they have zippers for tarps. Basically it's a super sticky tape with a zipper attached. This is my third grow in this tent and I have not had any issues. I did not want to make cuts on the tarp because of light leaks. They're all kinds of tarp zippers , mine was the cheapest one for about $10Yeah about the so called wattage output, very common on most chinese electronics.
Thanks. I'll take a look for those lights, $60 is better than $100ea since they will be getting replaced later.
How did you create the door in your tent, it looks like it has a zipper? I was thinking of doing a wood framed room and a smaller style normal door.

Its a mater of preference.. people dont want pics in blurples, because they cant see the color of the plants. In my sponsored grow i will be comparing the two. I have a white and a blurple lights..lolWhy do no well known members like blurples? Not tryin to hate just genuinely curious.
No,no, that's not what he meant by cobs. So, after a bit of reading it seems like the Bridgelux EB gen 3 strips may be the way to go. It'll take me a bit to finish the build research and get/assemble parts.
In the meantime, I was thinking of starting with 2 of these. Being that they are chinese sellers and almost all of them fail to provide true specs, I figured go with the "1800w" ones. Since they rate both the "1500 and 1800" as consuming "about 300w", the 6 chip 1800w may be closer to the actual 300w draw.
Has anyone seen posts from people using this specific light?

Bad light, bad!
Lol! I think its to late.save him before he does something regrettable
Ya this isnt the reason members hate on blurples(altho everyone hates blurple pics, agreed there) , its overall efficiency and end results that warrant those preferences. Of all the lighting choices( HPS,CMH,, T5s, CFLS, PROPER LEDS etc...., they would be my last choice. As you say, thats my preference. Its a mater of preference.. people dont want pics in blurples, because they cant see the color of the plants. In my sponsored grow i will be comparing the two. If your using blurples, all the power to ya, but to tell someone whos looking for legit information an incorrect answer isnt the way.
Ya i may have exagerated a little, lolI agree to a point.
I'd take a blurple setup over cfl.
Also, being that they're comparable to HIDs in terms of efficiency, if I were trying to light up a super budget 2x2 or similar size micro, I'd head towards a cheap blurp. That being said, the more efficient smd lights are getting cheaper by the day, so the difference in price is rapidly shrinking.
I have QB's, but check out the center of my tent. Granted, I'm building a light setup now with strips, the QB's will be part of, the other light is going into veg tentWhy do no well known members like blurples? Not tryin to hate just genuinely curious.

A history of manipulating figures, making false promises, cherry picking science, poor customer service, cheap parts driven hard, cheap drivers, minimal thermal management and poor quality control all leading to high fail rates. Why do no well known members like blurples?
