Opinions on light for small space (32×32)

I'm trying to pick out a new light for my 32×32 growing space. I'm growing 3 plants max at a time. I was considering Spider farmer sf1000 or 2000 but I really have no idea. Maybe 2 sf1000s instead of a single sf2000 even? Any advice?

You get more diodes per board with the
SF- 2000. 303 diodes x 2 boards=606 diodes. The SF-1000 is one 218 diode board. It stands to reason that the SF-2000 diodes will be driven somewhat more softly than the SF-1000 diodes. SF-1000 is driven at .46 watts per diode. SF-2000 is driven at only .33 watts per diode. I think they advertise an efficacy of 2.7μmol/J for their fixtures. Regardless of whether or not the efficacity of these fixtures is accurate, the SF-2000 should be better in this area than the SF-1000.

Other Forums eh? That's a good one - where am I active?

You definitely have the little man syndrome with the mindset that one needs to name those that would value their opinion.
Why don't you and @PSUAGRO. step back in the closet and do whatever that is the two of you like to do with each other when no one is around

fyi, you dont have to be there to be talked about.

What are lukio and I doing in the closet together again?........ Interesting, someone sounds homophobic.

Sorry op, from the options you've listed, I'd say 2 sf1000 for the flexibility & coverage.

Good luck
We might wanna be mindful of reccomending Spider Farmers now that this thread has surfaced about them.

If you can insert a wire in a connector you can diy that space. Its screaming for a 2foot strip build.

Or you can get a couple of hlg quantum boards v1s for very little. Maybe some alu backing and 200w driver.

What kind of cal/mag woes are you referring to? I'm growing dwc if that helps. I'll check out the light!
With leds you need a fair bit of control of the environment, its cold light and wont have the same drive to transpiration which means the plants may not uptake all the calcium it needs. There are easy solutions though: little bit more heat and or adding a bit more calmag.

Although i do like the cmh: grows fairly similar to leds (accepts higher temps without so much problems as hps for example and seems to always outdo their paperspec) your space is a little bit on the smaller side, you will probably have some heat problems in there.

And yes, you can ignore OHD, while he is right that leds can manifest calmag issues which can be a pain to chase down if your not used to it, as you can see he is more interested in arguing with people from his troll history than actually answering your questions and helping. Also a lettuce grower mainly afaik.

yeah strip build or a lil spider farmer imo.

ive actually ordered a SF1000 for a small cupboard space of 40cm x 40cm...will set it up in a couple days...i cant see their non blurples dying like in the horror story on the other thread...we'll see.
