Opinions on light for small space (32×32)

If you can insert a wire in a connector you can diy that space. Its screaming for a 2foot strip build.

Or you can get a couple of hlg quantum boards v1s for very little. Maybe some alu backing and 200w driver.
At 29$ per you might even go for 4 qb v1s on low power and avoid heatsinks alltogether. My guess is that this setup could be done with very little power.

Those are the old blurple tech. Who would buy those? At least the new models are made with real components. Any how I'd buy 2x240w kit off Alibaba. Then you can dim them down. You can get em 140$ a piece shipped.

You get more diodes per board with the
SF- 2000. 303 diodes x 2 boards=606 diodes. The SF-1000 is one 218 diode board. It stands to reason that the SF-2000 diodes will be driven somewhat more softly than the SF-1000 diodes. SF-1000 is driven at .46 watts per diode. SF-2000 is driven at only .33 watts per diode. I think they advertise an efficacy of 2.7μmol/J for their fixtures. Regardless of whether or not the efficacity of these fixtures is accurate, the SF-2000 should be better in this area than the SF-1000.
Hlg claims those numbers are fudged but hey theyre the competition. But personally i wouldnt believe the numbers. But the w per diode approach is very good. 4 v1 qbs would run around .1-.15w per diode for that space, about twice as soft as a sf fixture. Around 2.8 ppf/w according to hlg. Almost 1200 diodes.

Im not sure if youre actually refering to the qbs but they arent blurple and actually a very good alternative for US peeps:
Youd have the same amount of white diodes, lm561c, for 120$ plus driver cost (30-40$). Iirc hlg shipps for free, no china shipping.

yeah strip build or a lil spider farmer imo.

ive actually ordered a SF1000 for a small cupboard space of 40cm x 40cm...will set it up in a couple days...i cant see their non blurples dying like in the horror story on the other thread...we'll see.
My SF1000 will be here tomorrow, I'm also hoping it doesn't fail on me.

I was gonna tell you to be careful but you saw the thread.

I was referring to the old tech blurples they got stuck with. I read the warning like last week.

You can get an ipower or apollo one on ebay for cheap comes with both mh and hps bulbs. Think they're like 120 and a 6"inline fan is like 50

Ugh, just buy a set of qb132's and an LRS-200-36 and build them onto a frame of aluminum angle. Cost is virtually the same.

Its not that good of a deal anymore: 4x132 is 135$, 4x288 V1 are 120ish$. Ok, the 132 is lm301b but thats less than half the diodes for more coin. V1s are the king deal for US right now, im tellin ya
That's even better then. Aren't those v1's 100V boards? or no, they're 48V. There were some 100V boards out there though I just can't remember who sold them.
