I use one in my 4 x 4 flowering tent . Great light but costly .
16.5 pounds, for my tent poles its kinda heavy.......I can't hang my 6" inline exhaust fan I had.....its solid steel and without the carbon filter that weighs 15 lbs......had to buy a plastic 6" inline exhaust fanHLG550's...... HeAvY?!?! I would recommend not getting any other lights if the 550 is heavy to to ya. The 550 has gotta be one of the lightest fixtures if not THEE most light weight 500W+ light.
Cheaper then a gavita 1700e though lolI use one in my 4 x 4 flowering tent . Great light but costly .
Wow those girls look great! I'm happy to see the lights in action very cool! These are 2 weeks into flower under my hlg 550. So far they're looking amazing. hoping the yield is decent
Man, centrifugal fans are bullshit anyways I've learned. Plastic AXIAL style fans are worlds better. We're talking like night and day difference in both performance and reliability.16.5 pounds, for my tent poles its kinda heavy.......I can't hang my 6" inline exhaust fan I had.....its solid steel and without the carbon filter that weighs 15 lbs......had to buy a plastic 6" inline exhaust fan
I doubt theres many better grow lights for a 4 x 4, though. Its brilliant eye scorching white light
i've spun bearings in 3 centrifugals, the higher end brands might last a little longer but they will go over timeu

Bearings go to Shit in the centrifugal models. It's too much weight being hurled outwardly.
