cobs require a bit of head space. For micro grows

Stay away from the blues (6400k) in leds. Unlike other lights (cfl, mh) which still contain some low amounts of red, leds do not because of the way they’re made. 4000k in led is probably the best spectrum.
Only used the 6500k daylight bulbs as i read thats whats good for vegging. An last night i admit i had a few beers so what i said was screw in led bulbs are not their a bayonet 24w cfl bulb.

Took the missus out for a mad breakfast and now doing some more cleaning today plus potting up some clones.
Decided i better clean the pre filters off my carbon filters (which BTW the bigger is a Rhino and the smaller is a Phresh) after that filter chat.

I worked out i should have my pre filter on the inside of my carbon filter.

that picture i posted above is a 130W CFL.
That 130w is lighting them clones up nicely.
Cant remember the specs on the box wen i brought mine but it reckon something like the equivalent output was much higher then the actual 24w thats labbeled on the bulb. Works alright on the clones just not much chop on growin anything under them..
A clean once every 18 months works out good for a lazy cnt lol id probs just replace intead of cleaning it after that long cause i get the cbf feelin allot aswell

i rooted the clones under a 24 w LED strip. Will be their first day under the CFL. I dont think the LED is fantastic for rooting TBH. I always loose a allot of colour under it.

My new IBC in-situ on a pallet for irrigating the Bush Babies:

Took just over 2 hours to fill from the main tank using the pump. I'll have to time how long it takes to fill purely by gravity from the main tank (ie. no pump).

All nicely tucked-up in a $20 cover to keep the UV out & reduce algae:

Of course, as soon as I'd finished all this, it's started raining......

Spent the afternoon working-out an irrigation system for 6 large plants in the Bush plot fed from this one (I'll probably get another freebie in a week or so & will stack/daisy-chain them). Once I've got everything worked-out, I'll replicate the whole system for my veggie patch in a completely different area.

Laugh all you want. Here's my two recently defoliated and stretched out leggy ladies. They're under 35w of UFO shyte... So a third power. This room is a hot box in summer. And I'm not looking to pay the cost of running AC. Just for a couple heads.

While you were gone for a while I done my first tent run ever :)

All good, mate. No offence taken whatsoever (I know you like to grow 'em BIG, so the trade-off is always going to be using a lot of water). If I can get the bore fixed (& subject to water analysis), I'll be using that for all my growing.
Big yes
But Seriously never aimed for a bertha size one this year
I'm more about quality I'll take a pound of top shelf for perso for the year than 3 pound of average weed I don't really want for perso

I know you're all about quality vs. quantity. I'm of the same ilk.

I'll rephrase to: "I know you CAN grow them big".

BTW, this IB girl I've dedicated purely to seed-production:

I've had one branch of her on twice-daily CS applications for the past couple of weeks.

All going well, I'll be able to supply you with all the seeds you want for next season.
